Personally, I cant see where it says on Delta website. Seems to be free for business elite but everyone else is $50.

Friend of mine swears blind you can go in if you're flying Economy Comfort. Hmmm.

Also, says if you've got a platinum amex. Now I've got a platinum amex credit card but website says charge card which is different.

Anyone know for sure?

Nope - economy comfort does not have lounge access; we flew economy comfort in August.

Sorry to hijack this thread, I just wondered whether EC is worth the extra cost? There are two adults and two children (so the complimentary alcohol isn't going to even the cost out for all of us!)

I'll let you know. It cost us $80 per person per leg...

the only guaranteed difference is the extra legroom.
if extra legroom is worth it to you, then it's worth it.

i'm willing to pay a little bit more for extra legroom.

We are a little torn - if it was just DH and we would do it, but the kids aren't going to notice any difference, and £200 each way for all of us is not small change. Paul I would be really grateful if you could let me know whether you think it's worth it when you get back. Have a great trip!

We recently got back and took up the option of upgrading to economy comfort, as has already been said i think the only difference is that you get extra legroom and the seat reclines slightly further back. The other advantage that we found was your near the front of the plane which we prefer as you get of quicker. We paid £49.00 per person each way, personally we thought it was worth it and would certainly do it again :thumbsup2
