Delta / recent cruisers

Is Delta still checking bags at the port? Any very recent cruisers know?

They were in December; hopefully someone more recent can let you know.

We flew Delta for our 2/1 cruise. By the time we returned to Port Canaveral, the country's security level had been raised and we were informed ALL airlines had pulled out of the port. Imagine our surprise that Delta was there checking bags! I'm guessing they're still there, but maybe some more recent cruisers will chime in.

We looked for Delta on our 2/23 return but couldn't locate them...doesn't mean they were't there.

We returned to Disney for the day and flew out late but it would have been nice to hit the airport with carry on only!

So where do they hide and how do you sign up?

All the airline check-ins at the Port are directly across from where the DCL buses wait that are going to the airport or WDW. If they were there you mostly certainly would have seen them. They also have big signs overhead for each airline check-in.

I learn so much here! So we can check our luggage with Delta at the port when we get off the ship? We don't have a flight until 4:25 does that matter?

OH NO!!! I hope this isn't true. We went with Delta for two reasons....the price was better and they were checking bags at the port! It's such a huge convenience, especially with a party as big as my next one is going to be! Does anyone know of a number or email address that I can use to verify this?

Delta's ressie number for the U.S. is 1-800-221-1212. Maybe they can answer the questions for you or DCL may be able to tell you what airlines if any are checking bags at this point.

No one has really confirmed or denied that they are not doing this currently. I hope someone does.....I thought they had stopped when the country security alert went to orange, but now that it is back down to yellow I do not know if the airlines are back at the port.

Delta was definitely checking luggage at the port at the end of our FEB22 Magic cruise. In fact, we had an 11:05am flight and they sent us to the head of the line so we could make it in time. They even issued boarding passes so we could go straight to the gate when we got to the airport. Thanks to Delta, it couldn't have been any easier!

Thank you for contacting Delta Air Lines.

Yes, at this time, we still have a Delta counter located outside the
the Disney Cruise Line terminal. It is near the area that you board the cruise line buses to go back to the Orlando airport. You can check your bags there and Delta will transport them for you from the cruise line terminal to your aircraft.

Just got of the Magic last night. We flew Dlta, Yes they are still checking your bags when you get of the Ship.
