I recieved a letter in the mail saying that my non stop flight has changed to a one connection flight. I called Delta and found out the exactly same flight that I bought is still flying they just changed the flight numbers. I asked them to put me back on that flight they said it would be $150 to change flights. I called Disney and they said they are tring to pull one out on me, because nothing has changed on my origially flight but the flight numbers and that they would try to change me back to the non stop flight.

Has this happened to anyone else, this is just my dd7 and my trip I am not sure if they want a family of four to book instead of a family of 2.? :confused3

If they change your flight and it is not satisfactory to you, they should change it to something that works better for you at no charge. I would call back and talk to someone else. I will ask for a supervisor if needed. Since the same flight is being offered, you should have been put back on that flight.

The only thing I can think of is that you were never booked on the Non-stop flight to begin with and that is why they are telling you that you have to pay a change fee. If your original itinerary has you on a non-stop explain that to them in a nice way and all should work out. If you are not satisfied, call back and get a different customer relations agent at Delta.......

I didn't receive a letter, but I check my flights morn. & eve. everyday.
DL changed our flts. from non-stop to connecting one too!. I went on-line and they actually cancelled the non-stop flt. for that day only. The same non-stop flt. was available for day earlier. Since we wanted the extra day anyway we changed. I called DL to change and there was no charge at all to do this. There should not be any charge to you either. If they change/cancel your flt. they should make change without penalty. I would call back and talk to someone else because you should be able to get back on original flt without any charge!

They tried to charge us to for a change that was on their end. I called Disney and was told the same thing, we got our flights changed without any fees.

Or offer you a full refund (their choice).

We had this happen to us several years ago on Delta. They cancelled our original non-stop and gave us the option of traveling on a later non-stop or First Class on a connection through CVG which was closer to our original departure time. First Class worked better for us! Have a great vacation! :wave2:
