I have had to cancel nonrefundable tickets on Airtran before and was issued a credit which had to be used within a year. Does anyone know if Delta does this when cancelling nonrefundable tickets? Doing this would make me feel more comfortable booking something else for now; and if they get their grievances worked out iknowing that I would have a credit in the future. If they don't work it out, I will have lost it either way, but at least I'm not waiting around.
Also, if Delta strikes, would the airlines that operate under Delta's name, but not under their contract, continue flying? TIA, Julie
