Hello My Lovely Dis'sers

Time is ticking and I am very excited about our upcoming trip to Florida. We have flights booked Buffalo - LaGuardia - Orlando going with an hour and 5 minutes layover at LGA. We haven't done this route before so am wondering if anyone knows which terminals the flights usually come in and out of?

We leave BUF at 7 a.m. we only have hand luggage (cabin luggage) and there is me, DH, DS (15) and DD (12). I flown to LGA before but that was the final destination and not a layover so didn't really pay too much attention to it's size etc.

Can you help with info? Thank You!

Returning we are travelling via Atlanta but I don't really care about that flight! I mean who wants to think about coming home!!!

Do you know what the type of plane it is? If it's a regional jet, you will not be able to bring rollaboards onto the plane, you will have to drop it off at the end of the jetway in BUF and then wait for it to be brought up at LGA. That will cut into your connection time.

Delta Flights usually come in and out of Terminal D of LGA, it is not a big terminal, and you should not have a problem.
Good Luck

Not sure what type of plane it is! I don't mind the case being left at the Jetway and pick it up when departing. We have done this a number of times and it doesn't usually take too long.

Good to know that they both come and go from the same terminal. Last year we flew to Washington DC from Buffalo with a change at Philadelphia and we ended up missing our connection as they changed terminals after we checked the boards!

I looked at flights for today from BUF to MCO through LGA. I'm assuming you are on Delta. The BUF-LGA came in on D3 (regional jet), the LGA-MCO left from C34 (airbus). So I think the key is if you are going from a regional jet to a fullsize jet. Check your itinerary to see the plane types.

I fly out of Rochester, NY. Generally Rochester and Buffalo fly regional jets and prop planes. Flying into LGA, you will likely have to change terminals because the flight from LGA to MCO is on a much larger plane. Assuming that your flight is on time, you should have plenty of time. Although LGA is my least favorite NYC airport.

So if I have to go from Terminal D to C is that just a walk or bus? I have had a look at LGA's website to see but its hard to gauge the distances.

Also is anyone familiar with Terminal C for breakfast suggestions? If we are lucky enough to get there quickly it would be nice to grab a bite to eat on the next leg of our flight as our BUF flight is at 7am so don't see us having time to eat before we get that flight!
