I am from England and next July will be our 10 trip to Disney in 7 years but the first time we are flying indirect. Got a great deal with Delta, half the price of Virgin. We have upgraded to Economy Comfort for both o the long haul bits for $79 but for an additional $19 we can upgrade for the Bostone to MCO and MCO to JFK. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on whether its worth it for the shorter section of the flight.
Also if anyone has any other advice for me concerning Boston or JFK airports that would be great. We have a 2 hour stopover at each.

Will be in Orlando for 23 days, can't wait.

On the US flights the only thing you get with economy comfort is the extra legroom. No extras like free drinks or meals. The value of the extra cost depends on you -- if you are tall the extra space can make even a short flight more comfortable.

I just returned from a delta round trip booked in economy comfort.
You get more legroom, seating in the front of economy, and zone 1 boarding. The combination was well worth it to us. Zone 1 means no problem with our carry on bags, plenty of space. Being in the front of economy means we are off the plane faster, nice when making a connection.

I paid $59 for it SNA-ATL in September. My knee was bothering me and also I wanted to switch to a window seat and that was the only choice left. It did help me to stretch my legs out.

OMG!!! YES!!! Economy comfort is really worth it:thumbsup2

When Delta first came out with it, I though "Oh sure--another fee for nothing". But then we flew from the States to Paris and I didn't spring for Economy comfort seats.:sad2: After seeing the EC seats, one of the first things I did when I had internet access was to go back into the Delta website and upgrade all my upcoming trips to economy comfort. DH thanked me.:flower3:

Thankyou. So glad I upgraded now and I think I will upgrade for other 2 flights also as $19 seems quite reasonable and both flights longer than 2 hours I dont drink so doesn't matter that no free inflight drinks although I think we do get that on the transatlantic section.
