Delta....is it safe to book for October?

With the pilot strike over, how does Delta look thru the rest of the year?

They are the only direct flights out of GSO and the prices have dropped to approx $250, while RDU tix have gone up. So now the difference is about $100 for 3 R/T tix, and only about $40 once you figure in parking at RDU.

Advice?

We're hoping they're looking good through October! We bought our tix some time back for $180 roundtrip out of RDU. If you book a room at a nearby hotel the night before you can probably park the car and get a shuttle to the airport for free (works for us b/c we get free rooms at the Hampton).

With the price diff being $100 or less, I would say go ahead and buy the tix and fly out of the airport closest to where you live.

Im booked in August as they were the lowest fare. I would not worry at all.

We booked with them recently for December. Keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out fine.

Ditto. So far,so good. I called them to make sure I had seat assignments cause on-line it showed I didn't have confirmed seats. I do have seats now showing on-line.

Not to worry you BUT, the to say the "strike is over" is not accurate. The Pilots' Union leadership and Delta came to an agreement which must be ratified by the pilots. Voting is to be completed by end of May (I think.)
