Delta flying directly from Heathrow to MCO this winter

Looks like starting 26th October, Delta are going to be flying direct to MCO from London four times a week. This is in addition to Virgin's already scheduled flights - e.g. it's not just a code-share. Great to get some additional options for us getting out to Florida.

Was supposed to post an update to this when the flights started last month, but completely forgot!

Flight timings are interesting to say the least. Outbound flight departs LHR at 3:50pm and gets in to MCO at 9pm, which is very late. Almost certainly it'd have to be a straight-to-the-hotel job with no chance to eat or get groceries or anything. I'd be VERY sleepy or arrival given the extra five hours time difference, but then at the same time it does mean you can have a lie-in on the day of your flight out - you don't have to be leaving for the airport first thing in the morning.

Return flight doesn't leave Orlando until 11:55pm, which means you can have a full day for your last park day. It then arrives back in the UK at 1pm.
