Delta dropped the fare

from BDL to MCO in Sept again. Has been $124, currently $84 in case anyone is still looking for a good fare!!

Were you able to book at that amazing price????? Or can you get a credit if you already did? None of the airlines have dropped their rates for August from BDL, but we are booked anyway and leaving in two weeks so I am just thinking of that!!

Delta will charge a $150 "change fee" to cancel and rebook at a lower fare.

Delta actually had dropped the fare on 6/30 for about 24 hrs. OCD that I am, I check fares 2-3 a day!!! So I was able to grab it then. Good thing as there are only singles left for our flight right now and only 6 of them. I'm going to ask REALLY NICELY at the gate to see if DBr & I can get comped to First Class. DD & I were last year and it was lovely! Coach is almost completely booked right now and First Class is totally empty so I'm hoping we have a shot at it!

First class may be empty right now, but most times first class upgrades go to those frequent flyers who hold "status" with the airline ... this usually starts with Diamond and Platinum status getting the first availability 5 days out, Gold status at 3 days, and Silver at 1 day ... so unless you have status with Delta, I wouldn't count on getting "comped" to first class, especially when you've purchased your flight at a deeply discounted rate.

Not to spoil your hope, but there is pretty much no chance that you will get comped to First Class on a low discount fare.

As another pointed out, they go through status upgrades first, then they look for full fare coach tickets.

we were comped last year without even asking and we paid a wopping $69 each for that flight!!! Maybe we just look like fun people?!?
