Delta driving me nuts

Delta have been changing our flight times for months for our November trip, but hasn't been a big deal only 10 mins either way, but now they have changed the actual type of plane which is adding to our flying time for our return flight to LA.

Problem is as it stands now we have less than 2 hours to our international flight to Sydney. I don't know whether to stick with the current Delta flight and see if the time changes again or just go ahead and rebook another flight, unfortunately there are no other non stop flights so we would have to have a stop over in Atlanta.

Just don't know what to do :confused3

Is your flight to Sydney part of the same Delta itinerary? If not, you really should plan much more connection time.

With everything on the same itinerary, the airline has to get you to your destination even if there is a delay at customs that makes you miss a plane.

My flight to Sydney is with Qantas, my TA is suggesting we wait a little longer and see what happens, but I'm nervous doing that since when I looked at the connecting flights in our time frame they are filling fast.
