Okay I am better now but I was fuming not too long ago! I checked my November 30th flight coming out of Columbus(thanks to all of you) and was told that they finally cancelled it. Okay so what do I need to do, I asked! Delta gave me a list of lay over flights that I could choose from and told me I should decide quickly to get what I wanted. So I communicated with all parties involved ( 13 of us going) and decided on a flight. I thought that I should contact Disney travel since this is who we got our tickets thru.....they did not know the flights had been cancelled and had no record of the flights that I was asking for. Apparently Delta only gives certain flights to certain places. Well to make a very long story somewhat short .... I got tossed back and forth between Delta and Disney travel , both of whom said I had to make the switch with the other for over 3 HOURS!! Yep 3 HOURS!!!!!!!!! This was nonstop communication(me on hold) I finally finalized everything with Disney Travel with the initial flight that they said they could not give me. Oh well its done and said. Except that my husband is having a fit over what is going on in the world and making vacation plans does not seem quite right. Keep checking those flights guys! Thanks for all of your help. Kim

Kim,
The fact that you are living your life and not hiding under a rock or wringing your hands is, indeed, a very positive thing. So, make those plans and have a great time! :)
BTW, I am glad it turned out well, sad that it took so long.

Glad you got everything solved! I know you were worried about everything and everyone getting down there. Too bad you didn't have 3 way calling ;) What a mess!

I have to admit I am changing my mind every hour as to if I am doing the right thing. My middle daughter is now having nightmares while the other 3 seem fine. I called the pediatrician today to see if she had some advice, I guess we will go from there! THanks for all of your support. Kim

It's amazing how the reactions among children can vary so much. My 17 yr old DD seems relatively okay about the whole 9/11 incident. She is the one always terrified to fly, but told me that she would still fly, and be no more scared than she has been in the past.

My other DD, almost 15, has really been affected. She constantly watches the news, and asks questions all the time. She is very nervous and upset about the events going on in the world today. Always the one who loved to fly, she now tells me she won't anymore.

I can understand what you are going thru, and hope you all enjoy your trip to WDW!:D
