Good morning! Four of us were scheduled to go to WDW this Wednesday. Several days after buying the tickets, my 17 y.o. DS discovers that he has his last high school football game scheduled for Thanksgiving Day morning. I called Delta, paid the extra $$$ and changed his flight to 4 pm T-Day. We had a detailed conversation with the ticketing agent so when the e ticket confirmation came in the mail, I assumed it was correct and didn't check. Last evening, I opened the confirmation and low and behold, they had him flying out Wednesday at 4 pm instead of Thursday. In a panic, I called Delta, explained the situation as clearly as I could given my emotional state, found a sympathetic ear right away, was forwarded to "reissue" and all was taken care of. They could have easily said it was "my mistake", or it was "too late", or the only seat available would require a second mortgage. Afterall, it was our word against theirs, but they did the RIGHT THING. Now it is going to snow Wednesday morning. Lets home the plane takes off and the clocks run on time!
