Delta changed my reservations!!!!!

This is why I refuse to pay extra for Non-stop flights. They never stay Non-stop and then you are left having paid extra for something you didn't get.

If the non-stop flight is the same as a flight with connections I will book it and cross my fingers but with the way airlines have been lately I never actually expect my flights to stay the same.

For my trip to WDW in June I have booked us a overnight flight so we will be getting there at 8am rather than 8pm. I'm hoping they don't change the flight. If we leave much earlier than planned then I will have to come up with the money for another night at a hotel. If we leave later than planned then we loose some of our play time :sad2: .

I booked 15 tickets for Alaska 330 days before departure. The flights changed 5 times before we flew and everytime they changed, I spent hours on the phone with reticketing. I had so much time in those tickets, it was unreal. My batteries would go dead on my cordless phones. Finally, on the 5th time, the Delta agent recommended that I wait until 30 days prior to departure for reticketing in case they changed the flights again. The one positive was my seats numbers did stay the same...

Sorry to hear about this happening to you...

We have tickets on Jet Blue this January. They changed our flights to two hours earlier on our return about 2 weeks after I made the reservations.

They did the same with me and infact I had to take a two stop layer with just 40 minutes in Cinnci and 40 mins in Atlanta!

The only other option were early and late evening flights with one. Not doable as I have a child who needs medical treatments and he where planning MVMCP that evening.

I picked the best one stop and quickest route when I booked. Not right the Dlta reels you in with good flight and nonstop etc.... and then pulls the plugs. The only other option is them offering refund and trying to find a flight the same cost at Christmas just 6 weeks before! I feel your pain!

I, too, am off the Delta bandwagon! Used to be the only airline I would fly - loved DeltaSong! But as other posters have said, they are CONSTANTLY changing flight times. I have my time in Disney scheduled to the hour - changing our flight times mean we miss out on the things we want to do. For our trip in a month, they cancelled our noon flight; if we wanted to stay non-stop, I had 2 choices: 7am flight or 5pm flight. Since I have a child in a wheelchair, getting up and out early is very difficult, but I chose the 7am one - at least I still have the day at Disney!

I noticed that Delta has changed our flight schedule and sent notice. But even worse, on our last trip they never told of a change and I could not find our flights online. I checked about 1 month before hand and called. They put us on a non stop but I am still surprised they never told us they had changed everything.

Jetblue has been changing flights like crazy too. I have a trip planned in December and my flight has changed 5 times already. I first get an email and then a phone call.

Ugh, Delta. I had to fly with them a while back. I booked my tickets MONTHS in advance and chose the seats I wanted. I was flying with my 20-month-old (at the time) daughter and my dad and I wanted to make sure I got to pick my seats. When we checked in, they had the three of us in three different sections of the plane even though I'd selected my seats MONTHS earlier. They refused to do anything and suggested *I* go ask people to move so we could all sit together. I was LIVID.
