Hello,
Does anyone know how much the day of upgrade costs are for flights on Delta? We are going LAX to MCO and trying to figure out how much it would cost for the upgrade to first class.

Has anyone done this? or know the cost?

Your fare code has to be Y, B, M, H, Q, or K. If you are on a deep-discount fare, you cannot upgrade for cash.

The cost depends on your routing, it will be around $120-$200 per ticket, each way.

It is not worth it unless you are flying a BusinessElite-equipped aircraft. Assuming you are flying the LAX-MCO non-stop, it does not have BusinessElite.

It also depends on availability and priority is given to Delta frequent flyers with higher status. It is rare that upgrades will become available to a non-status flyer.
