Delta cancelled my flight

We were flying from IND to MCO on 10/3 at 2:30 p.m. and departing on 10/8 at 12:30 p.m. on Delta Express. I just check our reservations and our flight doesn't exist anymore. They put us on another flight leaving at 6:50 p.m. on 10/3 and the return flight departs at 4:45 p.m. on 10/8.

What are my options? Do I have to take these times? Can I request a refund since the flight change is over 2 hours?

Delta cancelled one leg of my flight and rebooked me on a flight that would have included a 5 hour layover and an arrival time home of 11:30 pm....I have 2 little kids, so this wasn't the greatest. When I called and asked them what they could do they put me on a non-stop home for no addtional fee. I don't know the answer to your questions, but my point is I THINK they are trying to accomodate the best they can. My Delta representitive did say not to wait until the last minute to rearrange your schedule though, because you will be more limited in what IS available. Good Luck!

WE were to fly out of Indy to MCO on 10/30 on same flight down and was cancelled. You can get a full refund, if you want to. We weren't too happy about flying right now anyway, so it worked out for us. We moved our trip up and are leaving 10/13, but driving. This doesn't give you much of a chance to make other plans though. Let me know what you did.

After seeing this thread I went and checked on our flights (my SO and I are flying into MCO from different cities) and sure enough, his flight had been cancelled and rebooked without so much as a peep from Orbitz or Delta to let me know. I'm at work right now, so I'm giving Orbitz the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they sent me an email at home (can't access home account from work).

While I'm annoyed that there has been this change, because it means that there is now a 2 1/2 hour gap between my arrival at MCO and his, I do want to say thanks to you folks for posting this and starting the rusty wheels turning in my head.

I'm not going to be too annoyed though, we're both safe and healthy and still going to Disney World. A 2 1/2 hour wait in a beautiful airport is pathetically trivial compared to the magnitude of what is going on 4 miles away.

what is the best way to see, on the Internet, if a flight has been canceled??

Do you go in like you are making a new ressies? But the flight could be booked solid.

Or is there another way?

My e-tickets are Delta for Nov 29 and Dec 9. Thanks!

We decided to move our trip to 2002. Delta gave a full refund.

For beattyfamily -

I checked Delta's web site for my flight number. When it came back and said my flight number did not exist, I used my SkyMiles membership to check my flight schedule. This showed the flight as cancelled and being rebooked on a later flight.

You can log onto the Delta internet site, with your pin number, and then click itineraries and it should bring up whatever flights that you are scheduled on. You can click on seat assignments and see how full your flight is/isn't.
