Anyone have the Dell Inspiron 6000? I would appreciate any sort of comments... good or bad!!!!

Thanks!!!

We've had one for a few weeks now. So far we love it. I can't tell you a whole lot about it because we are still transferring information over to it so we can use it exclusively. It's a bit on the heavy side for a laptop I guess, but this is our first laptop. We bought a laptop backpack for it which is helpful for lugging it around.

I have had mine for about 2 months now. I love it so far, and haven't had too many problems. I'm a teacher, so I cart it around eveywhere, from desk to classroom to home.

I did have some trouble finding a bag for it, as it is a bit longer than a typical laptop, but I did eventually find it. It also took me a while to get used to the touch pad scroll bars, but now that I am used to them, it's hard to use my DH's manual button scroll:)

I have one, which I like a lot. The widesceen is great. I don't think that the battery life is too great, but it could be because I like to play games which can be a battery hog.

That is what I am typing to you on right now. I love my laptop! The only problem I had was when my lovely daughter turned off the virus protection and got some lovely little worm that ate it's way through all the files. I had to do a system restore and start all over. Other then that it's been all good. I can't do the finger mouse thing though so we bought a mini mouse to go with it. I am thinking of going to the wirless version of a mouse though.

I bought one a couple of months ago and am really happy with it. It is bigger than my prior laptop, but I really enjoy the widescreen for my games and movies.

I don't like the little finger pad, either. I have a small, wireless Microsoft mouse, which I like a lot. It's small, but not too small (my DD has a teeny mouse, which I don't like since I feel like my hand is going to cramp using it).
