Delivery to your room?

I think chargin it to your room and then delivered is such an awesome idea. My next question to all you pros is how long does it take to get it delivered. Say me and the fiance went to magic kingdom and started picking out sovenirs from the beginning of the day to the afternoon. Would they all be there at the end of the day or the next day? Let me know experts.

When we stayed at POFQ, our packages were delivered to the gift shop, that evening. The parks can take up to the next day to get it there, but ours was there that evening. It was great to buy larger items and not carry them around all day! It is a great perk of staying on property!

The delivery system at WDW has changed. Purchases are no longer delivered to your room, unless you're staying concierge. They are delivered to a central located at each resort, usually the resort gift shop. Purchases are guaranteed to be delived by 3PM the next day to the resort location. You will receive a call in your room when the items have arrived. It is great to use for large items, but we usually take the smaller items with us. Also, you can't use it if you're checking out the next day, regardless of when your departure time in.

We've done this before and it has worked out great.

I know there are cut-off times in the park for same day but how it has usually worked for us is that the items were delivered to our room by the next day around noon. (when we were at SSR last May, they left the items with the resort gift shop and we picked them up from there)

If you are checking out the next day and therefore can't have them delivered to the resort, you can always have them sent to the front of the park for when you leave.
