Delicious Indeed!

What a fun meal at Le Cellier! The girls have a lunch ADR there during our trip in October, I was thinking of skipping it because I want to save room for all the F&W booths, but your update has me rethinking that decision!!

Cracking up over Howard's picture of the napkin

Funny too, that you said that about the strong beer taste in the soup, I'm the exact opposite, I can't smell or taste the beer at all!

Dining with a great server sure can make a meal can't it?

oh, delicious update indeed. We made it a point to hit up Le Cellier on our trip as well since it was going to turn to 2 TS at dinner. I don't eat beef, so in some ways it could be a waste taking me to a steakhouse, but I love my hubby and he loves his steaks. Plus I got to try a delicious new item - a fish entree that was soooooooo good. I'll eventually get to that on my TR. I think our waiter said that it would be making it to the new menu.

Anyways, I digress, I love when you get to have a truly enjoyable meal with good friends, good food, and great service. Sounds like he really went above and beyond to make the meal nice.

By the way, my hubby is dying to try that poutine. And I think h may be more of a geek than a nerd too, but I figured I would be splitting hairs with the bag. :rotfl:

Great review of LeCellier. We've eaten dinner there a few times and everything has always been super good. When you have a great waiter, it makes for a much better meal.

Woow, what great updates!

And stop spoiling KK for me!! I've only read the 1st one so far.

What a great review of Le Cellier. Jeremy sounds REALLY COOL and yay for Ontario!

I'm SO SAD that the Chocolate Moose is no longer there. I really wanted to try that but now I never will!

I can't believe you left all that CHEESE from your poutine!!!! Omg, that is such a no-no up here. Every bite has to have some fries, some cheese, and covered in gravy. I would eat all those cheese curds up....Yum....

Awesome review of Le Cellier. You just got me SO excited to eat there next month! My mouth was watering while I was reading...

I got really behind on your last few updates, I'm never going to remember everything I wanted to comment on!

I love all the Disney mugs! Have you seen the one from Animal Kingdom, with the animal print Mickey heads on it? I have to find it in October, I love it!

OMG your Le Cellier review made me want to go there SOOOO bad right now! I'm pretty sure they still have the chocolate moose on the lunch menu...the cream cheese mashed potatoes and the chocolate moose are the reasons I'm going for lunch this year, and not dinner! :cool1:

Your review of Le Cellier is just making me so hungry right now!

Your breadstick is so cute, so very fashionable. And smart too, since there's food inside! :lmao:

I am truly depressed that the chocolate moose is not on the new menu. Just completely depressed. :sad1:

What a fantastic lunch at Le Cellier! Jeremy sounds like such a fun CM! :thumbsup2

Its great how much fun you are having!
I'm really enjoying reading about it!

Le Cellier looks great, I really want to try it one day!
I love steak. Though right now I really want some of those fries!!!
I hadn't heard about the menu change. That's so sad that they won't have the chocolate mousse. I would have ordered that. He's so cute.

The beverly video was great, their reactions (or lack of) were funny!

I read the third Kindgom Keepers when it first came out, but I don't remember it that well. I haven't read the new one yet though.

Joining in! Lecellier looks GREAT! so sad about the chocolate mousse, I never
got to try it! lol :sad2:

Yummy! This was great timing as I just made a Le Cellier ADR for our next trip. I think I may have to try the potatoes instead of the risotto...

Can't believe the Chocolate Moose is gone! :guilty:

Yeah, I would definitely recommend the mashed potatoes. The risotto was a little salty for my taste. I'm also very used to having potatoes any time I have steak, so it would've made the combination even better!

Yeah, I don't know why they don't keep that on forever since it's apparently so popular!

I think it's definitely a fantastic place to eat! You can always just split some things so you don't get too full. Howard and I are going to do that during our Disneymoon. We'll split appetizers so we can hit more restaurants!

Haha, at least the napkin is better than all the pics he took during our first trip. "Wall! Take a picture!"

I wonder if it was just that batch that had a strong beer taste/smell. The others at my table thought the same thing. Haha, or maybe we are just that sensitive to it!

I'm so glad we had a great server, but now it might be bad because we'll compare all future servers to Jeremy!

Hehe, it was definitely one of the main "delicious indeed" parts of the trip! I could definitely try other things on the menu too. I'm not that crazy about steak, so I'm the person who orders fish at steakhouses too! I just figured this was filet, so I like it more even though my dad's always like, filet has no flavor on its own! Haha, that's the point. I don't want my meat to taste like meat. I want it to taste like the sauce!

The poutine is definitely worth the try! Of course, we all love french fries to begin with!

Great review of LeCellier. We've eaten dinner there a few times and everything has always been super good. When you have a great waiter, it makes for a much better meal.

Thanks! It's so true that a great waiter makes for a much better meal. I'm sure we still would've enjoyed it, but Jeremy made it extremely good. We didn't even realize how long we had been sitting there until we got up to leave!

Woow, what great updates!

Haha, you gotta catch up with KK!!! C'mon, Yuki!

The chocolate moose was good, but at the same time, it was also "just" chocolate moose. It was fun to share it, but it wasn't something that I craved afterwards. The fun was in the novelty of the dessert.

Haha, if the cheese was in curds, I could've eaten it, but this was all melty and gooey. It was a lot! I've seen what poutine looks like in pictures, and it looks so so so good!

Awesome review of Le Cellier. You just got me SO excited to eat there next month! My mouth was watering while I was reading...

Don't worry, Jen. I got really behind on EVERYTHING! I've been doing all that crafting, so I haven't been on DIS as often. I thought the summer would mean more DIS time! In reality, I actually spend more time here during the school year! Glad you're here though :)

Yup, I've seen that mug before in pictures. I haven't been to AK in a while though ... can't wait for May!

Mmm, I really wish we could've gotten those cream cheese mashed potatoes. SO GOOD!

Your review of Le Cellier is just making me so hungry right now!

Your breadstick is so cute, so very fashionable. And smart too, since there's food inside! :lmao:

I am truly depressed that the chocolate moose is not on the new menu. Just completely depressed. :sad1:

It was in our timeshare fridge as a purse too! We ate a little bit of it a few days later with breakfast or something.

Jen (Nermel9 above) said that the chocolate moose is still available at lunch. Maybe you can go then!

Iam a little late! lol but Iam in! great trip report so far, can't wait
to read more!! :yay:

Never too late! I'm so glad you're here :) Welcome! Plus, it takes me forever to write. Haha. I still have an April 2010 TR going too ...

What a fantastic lunch at Le Cellier! Jeremy sounds like such a fun CM! :thumbsup2

It really was exactly what we expected from Disney dining PLUS so much more!

Its great how much fun you are having!
I'm really enjoying reading about it!

I have your TR bookmarked from when I last read. I have to catch up on yours!

We love fries as it is, and I am a huge fan of sauces and dips. So putting gravy on fries is like, um, what? Why can't I have this every day???

I still love watching that Beverly video from time to time! I have to definitely take more video when I go because I sometimes like those better than pictures.

I think I'm going to be very upset when Ridley Pearson is done with the KK series!

Joining in! Lecellier looks GREAT! so sad about the chocolate mousse, I never
got to try it! lol :sad2:

YAY! Welcome! As Nermel9 said above, the chocolate moose is still there during lunch, so you still might be able to! There are so many delicious things at WDW that I have yet to try. I gotta get a move on just in case these things are ever taken away! Anyway, glad you're here! I'll start working on the next update!

Monday, February 21: HWB > Duffy

Thanks for all your comments on the Le Cellier posts! I got so excited every time there was a new one, I promise that I will at least finish with Epcot by the time the school year starts! Haha, let's just hope I can keep that promise!

After our "delicious indeed" lunch, we were ready to explore World Showcase and do our Kim Possible mission! I did want to stop at the Duffy store first though. I was very intent on buying a costume for Howie Wary Bear!

IMG_8872.jpg

Wait, who's Howie Wary Bear you ask? I'm not sure if I mentioned him on my TR yet. HWB is my bear from Build-A-Bear that Howard got for me last Christmas! It was 1 out of the 3 things he got me. If you're curious, he also built me a new computer because my old one was running so slowly. He also gave me a frame with 2 pieces of paper in it that were shaped to look like 2 wedding rings. Those 2 "rings" were made from the paper napkin rings from Applebee's from our FIRST DATE EVER (haha, he told me later on that he had taken them). Hehe, I love that guy.

I totally digressed. Okay, so Howie Wary Bear was an early Christmas present because I had always wanted my own teddy bear.

A131.jpg

I remember we were in the store for a long time because I wanted him so much, but I knew it wasn't practical especially being a 26 year old, haha. Howard bought him for me though! His name is Howie Wary Bear because obviously Howie is from Howard. The "Wary Bear" is from one of my favorite Disney songs! Do you know what song it is? I sing it ALL the time, so it made sense for him to be named HWB!

A135.jpg

ANYWAY, we went into the store because I had seen that they were supposed to come out with a costume for Sorcerer Mickey! I wanted that Fantasia costume for HWB. Howard and I both LOVE that costume because back when we played Virtual Magic Kingdom (ahhh still miss it!), it was such a thrill when we finally got the hats. Then we both also LOVE Fantasmic! Alas, they did not have the costume yet. I hope it'll be released soon!

Duffy bears around the world!

IMG_8873.jpg

Lots of costumes for Duffy. I think the premise of this plushie is great. Haha, Disney knows how to sell. It makes you want to get each costume for every Epcot country!

IMG_8874.jpg

Costumes from all over the world. I think the Canadian one is cute, but I don't feel like the clothes are as high quality as Build a Bear clothes. Do I sound like I'm 9?

IMG_8875.jpg

It's cute that they have costumes for characters too! Of course, I do think the BAB Disney costumes are better quality.

IMG_8876.jpg

There were a couple of different sized Duffys. Wait, do you pluralize it like, Duffies?

IMG_8878.jpg

I'm very glad I got my "Lil' Chocolate Cub" from Build a Bear instead because he's way cuter than Duffy. Sorry, Duffy. For a bit, Howard thought about ordering Duffy for me because I thought the costumes were cute, but I didn't love Duffy's face as much as I love HWB's face (haha, his smile reminds me of Howard).

IMG_8879.jpg

Here are some pics of the store decor.

IMG_8880.jpg

IMG_8881.jpg

It's that mug again!

IMG_6527.jpg

Taking a picture with it will have to do!

IMG_6528.jpg

So cute that they made the magic mitts in the shape of a mitt!

IMG_8882.jpg

I so would've bought this for the Wall-E and UP towel, but I wasn't as crazy about the Monsters Inc and Incredibles one. I wish they doubled up the 2 I liked instead.

IMG_8883.jpg

Epcot drumsticks! I thought these were really cool. It's a rather unique souvenir for drummers.

IMG_8884.jpg

Another fun souvenir except that I don't drink, haha. I can't keep refilling my water in a teeny-tiny shot glass.

IMG_8885.jpg

I was looking at Kooky pens the entire trip because I knew I wanted to buy one. I just wasn't sure WHICH one. Or what happens if I just decided to change my mind entirely and not buy one at all?!? Haha, that does happen frequently. Anyway, this was one that I saw that was rather unique, but I wouldn't have bought it because I don't like the Tower of Terror!

IMG_8886.jpg

I'd be upset buying one of these pens and having the pen run out of ink! I know Kooky pens have refills. However, this one was still pretty darn cute!

IMG_8888.jpg

So cute! And the book is pretty cool looking too, hehe.

IMG_8889.jpg

I think it was Nik who pointed out these dolls to us. Look at who's included in the top package and who's included in the bottom one. All the white princesses are in the top! And the one white girl in the bottom, Ariel, is the one that's not human! So what does that mean???

IMG_8890.jpg

This was the first time we saw the Vinylmation trading box. We didn't trade yet. I think Howard forgot to bring his with him to the park, and we didn't even open the second one yet either!

IMG_6529.jpg

I thought this shirt was super cute, but I don't wear wear white t-shirts.

IMG_8892.jpg

When I showed my mom this picture after we came home, I jokingly told her I wanted to buy this for her.

IMG_8893.jpg

We all left without making any purchases. It didn't mean that purchases weren't made soon after though ...

Oh, I know what song that's from!

Heffalumps and Woozles!

HWB is very cute. You're never to old to have a plush. ;)

Le Cellier looks so good! It sounds like it was a really fun meal. We have an ADR there in October and I'm really hoping it won't take two hours when we are there. My boys don't like to linger over their meals. :rotfl:

I like your bear. I wish they had had BaB's when I was the proper age for it. I'm planning on Building some Bears vicariously once my boys are the right age.

I love all the Disney mugs. I'm wondering if one of those is one of the next purchases...

You are correct! When we ride Winnie the Pooh, I get excited to hear it. They play it a lot on DIS Radio too! I'm glad I'm not too old to have a plush; it wouldn't be fair for the local mall to have this store and for me not to benefit from it, haha.

Haha, I don't think it would've taken two hours on a normal day. We were a big group with appetizers, entrees, and dessert plus that kitchen mix-up. I can't wait to see Landon and Carter enjoying Le Cellier!

Hehe, what exactly is the proper age for BaB? When I was in high school, they had Pawsenclaws, but they totally weren't as cute. The store closed after a bit, but BaB has been there for quite a while now. I used to pass by and look in the store longingly. Now I stop by every once in a while, but I haven't bought much. HWB has a track suit that was on clearance, and then I got him Star Wars PJs because the real Howard loves Star Wars (we're going to Star Wars Weekends hopefully during our Disneymoon). Then I took my younger brother there for his Christmas present (he got one with a basketball jersey). Our older brother didn't understand why Matt wanted a bear at his age. I was like, "I have one" and my brother said, "But you're a girl!" I'm guessing that was jealousy in his voice. Maybe I should take him there too ... (haha he's 29).

Not to spoil it, but no, I didn't get any mugs this trip. Neither did anyone else. We didn't want to deal with carrying it on Amtrak because we were already struggling as it was!

HWB is so cute! I agree, I like him better than Duffy :goodvibes

Monday, February 21: There's a LINE for Gran Fiesta Tour?

After seeing that Duffy had traveled the world, we were all ready to start exploring the countries too! First one was Mexico.

IMG_8894.jpg

Um, hold up. There's a LINE for the Gran Fiesta Tour? I just HAD to take a picture to show how far back we were. It didn't take long, of course, since the boats are loaded so quickly, but I can't believe we actually waited on this line. Haha. It was just hilarious! We weren't going to leave this country and then come back later, so we just got right in line with all these other people!

IMG_8895.jpg

It did give me time to take a decent picture of the sign considering how dark it is in there (and I don't use flash)!

IMG_8896.jpg

Mexico is the hardest country to photograph because it's indoors and very dark! I know that it's even a challenge for more experienced photographers.

IMG_8897.jpg

Howard was having more luck with it. Haha, well not luck. He just knows more about photography than I do.

IMG_6532.jpg

IMG_6533.jpg

Though this picture is grainy, I like that at least you can see what is being photographed.

IMG_8898.jpg

I think this is the closest I'll ever get to the real Mexico.

IMG_8899.jpg

I had fun watching that guy working there. It's great how Disney blends in all the "work" areas with the attraction areas. I don't think I ever would've noticed that little spot had it not been for the line.

IMG_8900.jpg

Finally getting closer to the boat ride!

IMG_8901.jpg

I tried to get a clear picture of the flags for a "Where are we now?"

IMG_8902.jpg

Apparently, I failed. Haha. I then asked Howard to make sure he got a picture of it.

IMG_6536.jpg

Then I tried getting a picture of the CM costumes because I liked the swishiness of their skirts. I really appreciated the costumes that were so distinct. I had never really looked at them until this year. I thought these would be my favorite, but there was another country I loved even more!

IMG_8904.jpg

When we were finally on the ride, Howard was able to get some decent pictures considering the darkness AND the movement.

IMG_6537.jpg

We were so surprised that he got this one!

IMG_6538.jpg

Wow. These things are creepy. I wouldn't be able to ride this seemingly harmless ride alone!

IMG_8905.jpg

IMG_8906.jpg

Maybe photography is partially luck too because this is the one that Howard took ...

IMG_6540.jpg

... and this is the only I took!

IMG_8907.jpg

Howard's ...

IMG_6541.jpg

Mine! Haha, can you tell I'm excited that my pictures actually turned out clearer? It's such a rare occurrence that that happens! That's why during this trip, I told myself I'd still take plenty of pics as if Howard weren't taking them. During our April 2010 trip with my family, I left a lot of picture-taking up to him, and I was a little upset when we came home because when I pointed at something, he obviously didn't see it the same way I did, so the picture wouldn't be what I expected. I learned to just continue taking them by myself anyway!

IMG_8908.jpg

By the way, did you notice that the little scene in the town also has those flags that you see in the queue? I love that there's the continuity! Plus, thsoe ltitle round trees are absolutely adorable!

IMG_8909.jpg

IMG_6543.jpg

How many times do you stop and take a look at what everything looks like behind you?

IMG_6544.jpg

I think I'd like to sit on one of those balconies!

IMG_6545.jpg

(continued in next post)

(continued from previous post)

The one annoying thing about this ride was the family in front of us. The huge family was so rowdy. The son kept touching everything. I was watching and taking pictures so I could have it on camera when his hand got chopped off or something.

IMG_8910.jpg

Enjoying the boat in the water thing just like how I enjoyed Living with the Land!

IMG_8911.jpg

That kid kept on going! And the boy in front, I guess his brother, was doing it too. The adults knew they were just "walking" their hands along the actual ride. I can't believe no sensors were triggered or it wasn't detected on cameras or something.

IMG_8916.jpg

One day I will get a good picture of this fountain!

IMG_8917.jpg

I don't like people who don't follow the rules. Can you tell that I was very bothered by this kid? AND his family? You can see another hand out in the front. Why in the world do people have to be so stupid to do these things? Why weren't the adults correcting them? There's a reason why the RULES say that you must keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times! Haha, it makes sense that I'm a teacher, doesn't it?

IMG_8920.jpg

Oh wait, I missed my favorite part of the ride! The fake fireworks!

IMG_6546.jpg

Yes, I do realize that we're in Disney World and could see real fireworks that night, but Howard and I still like this part! He didn't remember it from the last trip when I mentioned it to him, but when we got to that room, he remembered. Hehe, he's still a newbie.

We had to wait to unload the boat, and I turned around and saw that there was a wheelchair boat. I had to get a picture of it ... ride vehicles! Ahhh, my love of 'em is entertaining even to me.

IMG_8922.jpg

Some of the lighting. I told Howard that there was a thread on DIS that has pictures of lights. Isn't that crazy? Disney has details in everything that there can be a thread on light fixtures!

IMG_6550.jpg

We headed to the ride exit, but we still weren't done with Mexico especially since we were with people who loved souvenirs!

IMG_6551.jpg

Wait, there are things to buy in Mexico other than hot sauce? Haha, guess we wouldn't have really known had it not been for them!
