To save time and it also saves money we tend to do a supermarket stop and eat most of our breakfast in the room. We bring a collapsable cooler on the plane for our inflight meal, short trip they never feed us anymore, and then use the ice from the resort to keep it full. We usually get some bagels, cereal, milk, drinks, cream cheese and maybe a couple of bakery items. You wouldn't believe the time that is saved.
That said.... We only used it once, but the boardwalk bakery is right there, also some of the Epcot countries offer pasteries that could be purchased the night before. Not inexpensive but we also really enjoy Yacht Club Galley for breakfast, and have heard great things about the Cape May Cafe Character breakfast, if you are looking to do the character thing. We stayed at the Swan part of our last trip, but didn't try any of the restaurants there or at Dolphin so can't help you there, although people always rec. Tubbies. Went there once for a late dinner and was not impressed, service was real slow, but in the morning they probably have stuff prepared for the rush. Enjoy your planning and enjoy your trip.

I would suggest Tubbies food court located at the Dolphin. It is a very short from the Swan and reasonable prices. Plus they serve STARBUCKS;)

The Boardwalk Bakery. They have great pastries, plus a couple "Breaksandwiches". It's less than a five minute walk from the lobby of the Swan, and reasonably priced.

Just got back from there. Can tell you what worked for us. I don't know if you would think this inexpensive or not, but after 10 nights at Disney food prices, I thought this was a bargain. :o)

On the first floor, on the opposite side of the front desk (by the doors that take you to the boat docks), there is a bar. In the mornings, starting at 6am, they sell cereal, krispy cremes, fruit(whole and cut-up), muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, danishes... nothing hot but good. We have 2 small children and was able to get juice/milk, a pastry or cereal for us and them, fruit for the kids for about $14-16. I just thought it so convenient because we could literally get it and head for the boats or the car.

We have also used Tubbies, and thought they were fine. I wouldn't "dine" there, but a great place to have a bite. Great variety. It is a cafeteria style place with a convenience store part.

Hope this helps.

By the way, the Swan does provide coffee makers in the room, and my husband brings his favorite teas and coffee for his am fix. You can get cream, sugar from the Swan bar or Tubbies.

Have fun!

tubbi's at the Dolphin...excellent, quick breakfast, reasonably priced!
