I just joined micechat the other day specifically to take a look at that thread. Man, talk about intense. Seriously have to watch what you say or just never take offense to anything.

Yeah I am. Perhaps that's it - all the threads I've read so far are overwhelmingly positive, helpful and upbeat. Probably because I'm just so excited that my trip to DL is in 3 weeks, and it's taken me 37 years to get there, I don't want to 'taint it' by reading threads where someone is paying it out. Happy to read how well this thread has been discussed. This is one of the reasons why I like this side of the board so much.

Opinions are fine. Reviews are helpful, but the best reviewers do not feel the need to be condescending towards any reader with an opposite view. There is no need to add statements like the brainwashing one. That was just meant to bash the very people who opened the thread to be helpful in the first place.
