Oh this is a post for Sam! (Fantasia Sam!)

We certainly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin across the way from the Swan, so although it certainly looked nice inside, I'll have to leave it to Sam and others to tell you about the renovated rooms.

I can certainly vouch for the location though - the Epcot resort area is really pretty and you have Boardwalk a short walk away and you can either walk or get the Friendship boats to Epcot and MGM Studios. I'd definitely stay there again!

The Swan is lovely!

I've had the good fortune to stay at both the Swan and the Dolphin - and for me the Swan (atleast until the Dolphin is renovated and has the Heavenly beds) just edges the scales.

They are both beautiful hotels, but because the Swan is smaller, it has a more cosier feel to it.

The Heavenly beds are, well...heavenly, hehehe! For once, they are something that actually lives up to the hype - those things very comfy and lush!

I can't really say what's a good or bad room - I think the only thing that differentiates is the view from the window (lake being the nicest naturally) - I've certainly not heard of people complaining of bad rooms there and being pretty small, I don't think any are too far away from an elevator. One thing I would suggest is to get a room with a balcony though...those things really add a nice touch :)

The location, as previously mentioned, makes it a winner too!

Oooh, I love the Swan, it is my favorite Resort around Boardwalk!! :) The beds are the best, the rooms are very big and it is super quiet too!! :) We stayed there during Dis Con and of course, I took some pics...:)

Hope those pictures help some for you...I really can't say enough how much I love the Swan...We are going in August and staying there again, but this time at Club Level, so I am really anxious to go! LOL

:):)

I haven't stayed in the Swan, but from beanie's pictures, it looks fabulous!

We did stay in the Dolphin next door, and I have to agree that the location is superb for Epcot, MGM amd, of course, the Boardwalk.

However, (just to give you something else to think about ;) ) I think it's worth emphasising that the Swan (and Dolphin) aren't Disney hotels (despite the WDW location), and IMHO it shows. This may or may not be in their favour depending on whether you like being immersed in Disney 24 hours per day ;)... but they're both really great hotels in their own right! It just depends on what you're looking for.
