I've never been as a solo Lenny, but I imagine it'd be quite nice to do so.

I think I'd enjoy the time to myself and get myself booked in at the spa for a couple of treats :goodvibes There's always individual things to do as regards to activities too, there's plenty fun to be had down at the archery centre, and that's just one I can think of at the moment.

One thing though, would you mind eating out alone? I'm not sure (as I've never looked for Elveden) but I'm sure the 'hotel' apartments don't have their own cooking facilities as like the villas. I know ours didn't when we did a weekend at Whinfell in Cumbria. May be something to look into :goodvibes

I think it would be a lovely getaway solo.

I've never been by myself but I've stayed in the hotel 4 times now - not only is it cheaper than the villas but it's so lovely. It's close to everything, the views are beautiful and it's always so clean. There's a small fridge so I tend to save pennies by bringing a few nice Tesco sandwiches along (not sure you're supposed to but still!) and goodies before I go. They've got a nice takeaway place if you haven't been before (the duck pizza's delicious and good value) so you don't always have to go out.

Like Tinks says the spa treatments or the spa 3 hour sessions are a great idea - I tend to do that by myself anyway when we go. Plus the scenery's lovely for quiet walks and you can pop into starbucks with a paper and stay for ages. Ooh I wish I could be there right now! :cloud9:

Of all the places I've been to I definitely think Elveden would be the holiday I'd choose if I was going away just me.

You summed that up perfectly, I actually could picture it as I read :goodvibes I'm looking forward to our upcoming visit even more now!

Aww! I've only ever been in wintertime, it's lovely with their lights up. I'm hoping to go early next year if we're able to with work.

When are you going?! :)

November, we tend to go closer to Christmas also. We seem to enjoy it more when it's colder, though that may sound odd :) It just has a lovely feel to the place when it's cool outside but you can still splash about in the heated pool outdoors :goodvibes
