They will tell you of any openings at very specific times and then you select one that works best for you.
I'm sure you could ask if there are openings at the days and times you want them though.

Just a suggestion, if you have to schedule your interview for when your roommate is there..you could always just tell her you have a phone interview for that time, and ask if she could keep it down for 20-30 mins.

If you don't want to do that, do you have a car? If so, you could always go sit in your car.....that's what I did the first time I applied because my roommate was still sleeping (and we were in a one bedroom dorm).

Just make sure when you call, to ask if the times you can do it are available. They'll work with you.
