pirate: thread jack over... :ccat:

You too look so cute together in your siggie pic!! You looked like a princess! DO you have big pics of your gown. Did I miss it in your TR or am I jumping too far ahead?

I love the picture of you and Caryn together. I'm so glad you guys got to meet up!

Caryn - Your make up looked awesome! I can't wait to meet Ana!

Things have been so crazy over the last week I missed your TR! I love the idea about sending the strawberries to your parents, I think I'm going to have to steal that one. I was already going to have some sent to our room for Kris (my planners' assistant already gave me the number to private dini.ng). Out of curiosity, do you mind saying how much you paid? I'm just trying to decide if I can send it to multiple people or not. I love the "almost" married pins, how cute!

Keys to the Kingdom is so much fun, I love all the backstage tours. Although, it's been a long time since I took it and we didn't get the cool headphones.

How did the crystals go on your veil? I know we got ones with glue on the back and it still took us 3 1/2 hours to put them on my veil! :bride:

We had Chip and Dale write things to us at Cape May too, they were hiliarious!

I'm glad to hear that your mom's dress was taken care of by Disney dry cleaning. That would have definitely made me freak out too, so I understand your Bridezilla moment. :laundy:

Thank you for sharing the facts from your Segway tour... I had little facts about the Living Seas for our reception, but not much about the AAR for our ceremony. I'm going to use the bit about the 7 stories for my welcome newsletter along with the Living Seas trivia.

Sorry to hear that Rob got so sick, glad he was feeling better that night. The pictures at Whispering Canyon are so cute, we usually go there for dinner on our trips. My parents are actually going there after we leave Florida for Hawaii, so I'll miss out on their antics.

Really enjoying the TR so far, thanks for sharing all the great pics! :cheer2:

Kristen,

love the pic in your sig. can't wait to see more.

Just got all caught up on your TR...everything looks great so far!! (It was like watching a suspense movie as I was reading about the stainpopcorn:: ...waiting for what would happen!! SO glad they were able to get it out!!)

I never knew about the giant drink @ WCC!! I'm going to do that next time we're there!!:drinking1

Can't wait for more....:surfweb:

I've been lurking for some time now. Can't wait to hear more! Thank you so much for posting a pic of your packed car. Everbody thinks I'm crazy for wanting to drive to disney. THAT is why!

Oh I can relate to you with the "need" of some people to invite wedding guests at the last possible minute! I am sitting here getting angry for you!Gotta love those people who feel it necessary to add extra drama to an already stressful time! Enjoying your report!

Hey just peeked at your teaser pictures and they are so great, I can't wait for Randy's. Was wondering if you would mind sharing the pricing for your AMAZING cake? Not sure if you did before in your PJ, also I was wondering prices for hair, make-up and Randy if you don't mind...if you do I understand. Thank you in advance...

waiting for the rest of the pictures, your threads are entertaining...I enjoy reading them and I love the picture of you and Caryn, how cute?! :goodvibes

I can't wait to read more!!! Your wedding looked fantastic...

Whew... I just caught up. Read the whole thing here at work. I should be... working! And I am, but I can't quit Dis cold turkey! I'm in to deep now anyway. :rotfl2:

Okay, first things first. Congratulations again! And I checked out your sneek peek pictures. You made a beautiful bride :bride: and I loooooooved the blue crinnie. If I had need for a crinnie, I would have dyed mine too!

Lets see what else...

I worked a full day before we left. Well I guess you couldn’t really call it “working”. :rotfl: I think I did more wedding planning than actual work.

I was the same way. I planned on working a full day wednesday, then I took Thrusday off and we flew out Friday morning. I was a wreck by Wednesday. Stressed and freaked out and my mind was single tracked all the way. My bosses cut me loose. They were going to let me go right after lunch, but I wanted to get some (work!) stuff done!

The lady at the front desk was super sweet (definitely nicer than the people I got during the strawberry debacle). She asked a lot of questions about our wedding, and even made us some “Almost Married” pins… adding ALMOST and our wedding date to the Just Married pins. Surprisingly we got a ton of attention (and questions about the ALMOST) during our pre-wedding Disneymoon. It started a lot of conversations with random CM’s, and we got a lot of “Where’s my invitation?”, or “Can I come?”. It was really nice.

That's sooo awsome. Do you know I was given 4 sets of pins befor our wedding and not one person thought to alter them to say ALMOST. I really felt like the pixie dust was sparse. I'm so glad for you that it wasn't!

Wedding planning is seriously the most stressful thing I’ve ever done!

Agreed. Most Stressful. EVER. :scared:

YEAH! You started! Im so excited.

What a mess....For Pete's sake it was just some strawberries, you would have thought you would have asked them to have Mickey and Minnie waiting when they checked in!

:lmao: Mickey and Minnie! Yeah, asking for some strawberries was not asking for the world, jeesh! I'm glad that you were persistant and finally got a CM willing to really help you. I went into "give up" mode right before the wedding. I gave up on things deeming them "not worth it."

We hope to take the behind the seeds tour on our honeymoon. I love your PRE honeymoon. What a great Idea. I wish we could do a week i nDIsney before the cruise. BUT since one of my weeks off work is unpaid now, I don't think it would be possible!

I so wish we had more Disney time. You'll see we had a sparse couple days in the park and unforseen circumstances stole some of those days away. I would have actually skipped the cruise and stayed in Disney if I knew how much I wasn't going to really enjoy the cruise. I hear ya though on using all the vacation time up. Now we have these AP's and I have to take unpaid time off to go back. :headache:

Kristen ~ DH and I took the Keys tour some five years ago or more and loooved it. I did my CP in 2006 and one of our training sessions during MK orientation was very similar. They've since changed the tour and don't show you as much as before... hmpf. I haven't done the behind the magic tour, but it sounds like it's right up my alley. I just don't know if I can muster paying to go backstage after working there...

Thats almost all I did on my honeymoon cruise! Eat, sleep and a few shore excursions... I wish I could go back!!

Yes, yes and yes. This is exactly how our cruise went too. We actually had two stretches where we were at sea for two days. There's not much else to do. So we would eat and sleep. I'm really needing my 3:00pm nap right about now!

Ugh! I just gave up ice cream for Lent so your pictures are NOT HELPING!!!!

(Wendy would be so proud of the colored font!)

Good Job! :thumbsup2 I'm proud! ;)

Did you go on the Disney Cruise? My DF and I just decided two days ago to cut our Disney time a little short, extend our honeymoon a little bit, and go on the Disney Cruise a couple days after the wedding. I am sooooo excited! :cool1:

I can't wait to hear about a Disney Cruise as a honeymoon. My next cruise will be Disney. I just know that I enjoy their brand of entertainment and I feel like I can "trust" them. DH was worried about the kids... but I imagine that they're occupied quite well.

Awww how fun! We didnt do a Disney cruise :( We wanted to, but the 7 day cruises only left on Saturday (our wedding day). We ended up leaving on Sunday on Carnival... which was great! I'd definitely recommend getting a balcony stateroom if you can afford it. I've been on more cruises than I can count, and we've never been in the room much. However, on our honeymoon we spent more time in our room than out of it! I slept the whole darn week, and we spent A LOT of time on the balcony, enjoying the scenery and getting some sun without all the crowds.

I'm so glad to hear that your Carnival cruise worked out so well for you!! It was 7 days still, right? Where where your ports? What excursions did you guys do? How did you and Shaun feel about the food?? (am I getting ahead of you? are you going to extend your TR into the cruise? If so, I'll wait!)

I did enjoy it... kinda hurt my feet though! I used muscles I never knew I had!

We did the Segway tour in May when we got engaged. It was my surprise gift to Chuck! (even though he hadn't proposed yet and I didn't think he was going to EVER.)

We did another Segway tour as an excursion in Nassau while on the cruise and it was even more amazing than the Disney one. They took us off turtle mode and we were on the all-terrain models. We had a lot more freedom and range.

It's true though... your feet do hurt! But soooo much fun! I'm sooo sorry that Shaun was too sick to do this with you.

Chuck's been researching how much it would cost to buy one to use for work every day. He's been all over, including ebay. I feel like the evil wife saying NO! lol.

While I’m in Michaels, I get a call from Rob’s Aunt wanting to know if she can bring her foreign exchange student to our wedding. “I can’t leave her at home, she doesn’t speak any English” she says! At this point steam is practically coming out my ears… people were doing this to me all week! I made room for the 3 year old, but had to politely say no about this one. Somehow I managed to keep my cool… no Bridezilla here! “If you asked me 2 days ago it would’ve been ok, but all my numbers have been finalized and I really can’t add anyone.” So what if it was a flat out lie, I didn’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings!

how annoying. I'm sorry. This calls for a large colored font:

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE???

At the end of our dinner, Rob’s dad announces that everyone is waiting for Rob in the WL bar… they want to throw him a bachelor party. I DON’T THINK SO! I had my bachelorette party at the beginning of January, and I told both Rob and his father that if he wanted a bachelor party to do it then. I warned that there would be absolutely no wild drinking the week of our wedding… Rob insisted that he didn’t want a BP and had a nice quiet dinner with his parents instead. So here we are 3 weeks later, and my FFIL is arguing with me in the middle of a restaurant! I have plans to meet Caryndisneydiva in 20 minutes, and I’m not in the mood to argue, so we just get up and leave.:headache: !

More anger and frustration. What is wrong with people?? I'm glad you had given the heads up, so you were justified in your actions when you left. I had something similar happen... but I'll save it for my TR, not yours! lol.

We finally get to PI at 10:20, and like Caryn said in her TR, the comedy club wouldn’t let us in because the show had already started. We wandered around a bit and Rob went into the surf shop (if you can call it that) to get a present for his best man.

At about 11pm I finally got to meet up with Caryn! After months of talking on the Disboards, it was great to meet in person! Caryn and her DH Mark had gotten married about 12 hours earlier, but were still partying! We talked for a bit, but had to cut the evening short since Rob was still not feeling well. Here's a picture I stole from Caryn's TR... thanks Caryn!

100_0711.jpg

WOOOHOOOO... I saw this picture before I left and it made me so happy! Dis brides meeting! :woohoo: Space-time continuum staying intact!

My eye makeup was running after 6 or 7 hours even though she said it was waterproof!

Who did your makeup? Did I miss that? Or are we not there yet... I guess I could go back to your PJ. I tell ya, I really need to do something about my memory. I need to start training my mind. It's definitely NOT a steel trap!

I'll tell ya, because of all the nonsense my MIL has put me thru, my kids and their spouses will never have to worry about me giving them any trouble! I could never scream and yell or otherwise terrorize the person my child loves :headache:

 :flower3: This is why you're an angel. I hope that everything works out well with the FMIL, at least through the wedding. I can't wait to read more!!!

I just caught up with your TR!!! You guys seem like so much fun!!! The pic of you and Caryn is so cute!
