no, the hole is not too small for a needle, but use a thin, beading needle and it will be easier b/c they are longer. But yes, you are trying to put clear thread through a clear hole on a pretty transparent fabric. Lighting is key. When I did it, we had just moved into our house so we had minimal furniture and terrible lighting. It was near impossible because I couldn't see the thread! LOL!

Plus you want to secure each bead individually. You'll see when you start...those suckers are slippery!

I was actually given a dress and a viel by someone whos brother was just going to throw it away. IT had never been used and was just my taste. The viel though for me needs some color. I never thought of instead of going to buy another one trying to add in some ribbon on the edges that match my color scheme or adding in some rhinestones. I think I am going to also try adding in a sash to tie a bow around the dress if not I will be adding colored beads to the dress for hte next 2 years.

Has anyone considered using ebay to buy their veil? That's where I got mine from. It's a 3tier cathedral length veil made out of shimmer tulle and has 150 swarkovski crystals on it, it came with the comb attatched so it's ready to use. It only cost me $59 & I love it.

Where did you find your ringbearer pillow? All the ones I've found with a glass slipper have been sooo frilly! So I've been looking at one with Mickey and Minnie, but I love yours!
