We have stayed at the Venetian (got a free upgrade to a high roller suite - not sure how as I am so not a high roller!!) and the New York New York. We loved the Venetians theaming and location. Next trip we are staying at the Bellagio with a lake view (I love looking at the strip at night time and the fountain show is amazing.) I love the theaming of the Bellagio plus IMHO it has one of the best locations on the strip as it is in the middle.

Went to the cinema to see Ocean's 13 last night - it was GREAT!

Didn't show as much of the Bellagio as Ocean's 11, but still some great shots os it - looks so romantic (just great for a wedding!). Classy film to!

I've stayed at the Stratosphere and the Flamingo Hilton.

The Flamingo is in a great position (just across the road from Caesars Palace). The rooms were a good size and the buffet was great.

I felt the Stratosphere was a bit too far out, although it did have its own shops.

Yes I think we have. Found a hotel called The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. The pictures look gorgeous. Most reviews are positive, few negative but figure you get dodgy reviews wherever you go. Gonna fly with Maxjet, who offer a business class style flight for near economy prices. Can't wait! Got hol to Disney in Sept which I have first!

TheHOTEL is wonderful. Very modern and stylish. My only issue is that the suites, whilst very luxurious, are very masculine and dark -- deep purples and browns/blacks. Not really my taste - I prefer the neutral colours and styling over at the Signature. However, the service at theHOTEL is exceptional, and you have all the incredible facilities of Mandalay Bay right on your doorstep.

Masculine is good by me! I'm going with my brother (separate rooms of course!) and no girlies so masculine is fine & dandy!

Glad you liked it. Got some positive reviews too on a Vegas forum I went on.

When I was out there saw Cirque Du Soleil's "O" which was awesome.

Would like to see another show this time.

Any suggestions?

I love "O". In my opinion it is definitely the best Cirque show out there. However, Mystere is also excellent and a little cheaper, too. It's over at the Treasure Island hotel. We only ever watch Cirque shows when in Vegas, so I don't have any other recommendations. Have you checked out the Las Vegas forums over at tripadvisor? Lots of great advice over there.

Are you planning on visiting the Grand Canyon?

Lenny - what company did you use for the Grand Canyon trip? We're looking at doing one this year that includes the landing and champagne lunch (last time we just had the flight). I'd appreciate a recommendation
