Can't wait to hear all about your trip. One question, what night was Captain gala and formal ight, Monday? Did you have the Captain's gala menu with lobster that night? Can you tell me how the menu and dress rotation went please? It seems to have changed from our June cruise and I'm hoping to get the info prior to our 1/3/04 western so I can pick what night to do Palos.
Thanks and post a trip report when you can.

Thanks so much for the answer. Our formal night with the Captain Gala was Thursday, I wonder why they went back to that night being semi-formal.

We did make Castaway Cay - It was overcast in the AM - but soon burned off - It was a beautiful day!!! We had a great time there!

I must agree DVCLADY - Ginger did an awesome job with Trick or Treating! Very organized and the kids loved it - Really wonderful - Thank you so much Ginger!!!!!

We truly had a magical time aboard our cruise! So sad to be back to reality though. Ginger was a great sport for organizing TOTing. I was the harried lady leading the smaller 2nd group! LOL I think DCL threw us for a loop by doing their activities on the 30th as well. I have not seen anyone else post it, but supossably we we on a "full" sailing. There were no upgrades available at port.

Thank you Ginger for the ToT. It was great to meet all of the Disers that we did. We just got back from Universal. That was our first cruise, and THE BEST vacation EVER!! We rebooked for June 26th Eastern sailing.

When we were told it was a full ship, we got very nervous. But, everything was great.

Hi everyone. Just got back to the UK, 43 hours after leaving the Royal Pacific Resort and over 24 hours late. We left Orlando for Washington and had to turn back due to a technical fault. Waited there for 3 hours, then tried again. Of course, all connecting flights had left so we had to overnight in Washington and get a flight to Heathrow at 6.15pm on Tuesday, finally connecting to a flight to Manchester when we got there. We spent many hours at Dulles airport on Tuesday, so any questions, I'm your woman.

Never mind, we made it in the end, tired but happy from a great week at WDW, a couple of days at Universal and a fantastic cruise. It was great to meet all of the Dis'ers. I won't name them all in case I miss someone, but you know who you are.

Take care.

Karen

Hey Karen- It is nice to know you have made it back home!! It really was a pleasure to meet you and your family - I almost have Andy into booking a cruise, but of course, we should have booked on board!!!

Give my best to the family - Hope your jet-lag doesn't last too long!!!

All the best,

Karen

Hi everyone,

I too would like to say thank you so much to Ginger for organizing our ToT event. It was a fun way to meet everyone! My little ladybug seemed to have fun.

We had a nice time, but Katie decided to start getting 2 of her molars in, so by the end of the trip she was just a mess. Poor thing, her gums were really hurting. We felt so bad for her.

We stayed at the Poly for 2 nights after the cruise. What a beautiful hotel.

Chat with you all soon!

Just to mention that I, too, had dental probs on the Western Cruise last Feb. Crew medics told me of wonderful medical centre in Cozumel..................Got problem sorted out within the hour! Ask at ship medical centre for a map, but get a taxi............... we walked for 30 mins to get there! Drs and Dentists available - and were wonderful! Lovely new, clean place too. Just hope not too many of you cruisers need it though! Nat

Hi! Glad you enjoyed your trip. We are going on our first Western cruise in December and I have some questions for you regarding St. Maarten, St.Thomas and St. John.

We are travelling with our then 6yo and 8month old. I will not ride in a cab or bus that doesn't have seatbelts for the baby's carseat (I'd really like to bring the 6yo's booster too, but he is technically tall enough to ride without). Has anyone seen any public transportation in St. Maarten or St. Thomas that has seatbelts?

Also, would we be crazy to try and go to St. John? I know that the beaches are much nicer than on St. Thomas, but it seems like a lot of work to get there. Thoughts?

I'm not very familiar/comfortable with webased boards and don't visit often--if possible can you copy my email when replying? TRICKUM28@yahoo.com. Thank you!

WElcome to the boards SuzPasq! I think you will find that they are quite addicting! I have emailed you!
