Sounds like a good day!
We were actually at Animal Kingdom that same day! We don't normally go on week days but my daughter had that day off from school!
The next day we were at Epcot.

Those games in innoventions are so much fun! And such a short line for Soarin'! Awesome! :yay:

I'm so interested in what this Turtle Talk "drama" could be!!

Not gonna lie...I still get kinda excited when I get to drink a Capri Sun. ..even though I'm the one that buys them now. For some reason it still feels like a treat! And now I want one!

Oh hey! BTW...I started my TR...you should come check it out!

Wow, nice empty Soarin'!!! I agree with you on the field of view in the second row being better.

Looks like fun in Innoventions. That's cool how they simulate the house being on fire!

Nice that the JAMMitors took time to chat. Andrew sure does love his Capri Suns! :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear what the next update is about!

How awesome! It'll be nifty to see if we were in the same place at some point! We do usually stick to trying to visit on weekdays now though. Who knows.. LMK if we cross!

Short Soarin' lines are AWESOME! Really, aren't short lines for anything amazing though? :goodvibes

Turtle Talk is always an adventure for us..:rolleyes1 I'm not a fan.

Me too! We were never allowed Capri Suns when I was growing up. Those and Swiss Miss pudding cups were on my "when I grow up, I'm totally buying that all the time!" list. Now, I rarely get either. :rotfl: Stuff like that makes Andrew kinda crazy, but I love giving hima treat now and then!

TR checked out! So glad you're doing one. I'm enjoying it already!! :thumbsup2

Glad someone else is with me on row two of Soarin! It seems like everyone on here is stuck on one being the ultimate experience, but give me the "foot view" instead! Second row, anyways. Third sucks. :rotfl:

The JAMMitors were great. The boys LOVE them! We need to make time to check them out again. It looks like they've cut back on their shows though. We tried last week, but there was only one set of times, not the usual East & West locations? We missed every show! :sad2:

What a tricky question at Where's the Fire! Sounds like a fun activity overall though. And stickers at the end would be exciting. :thumbsup2

We're Soarin' front row fanatics. We're those people you see waiting off to the side to be in the front row. I just hate having people's feet in my face while I'm Soarin'.

I would have never guessed that Capri Suns would be a big hit. I've never really liked them that much, but I'd be happy to get them if they are a toddler-pleaser. Except I can just picture my boys squeezing too hard and getting juice all over them. Maybe they're too little. Can Blake hold his Capri Suns?

When do you ask about front row? I've been tempted to do it for Andrew but wasn't sure when the best time to make a request was. I've actually yet to see anyone do it!

They've gotten better with the line of waters and 100% Juices. I have that same worry whenever I give them to the boys though. Blake does alright, but we do spend some time making sure he only holds them from the top!

I've posted a lot about how I'm not a big photopass fan. However, Andrew did Jedi training in January (I think? Maybe it was February? I've giving away the future of the TR!!) and I LOVED the pics. I decided to run my own photopass "share" in a sense and hold off claiming them until the last minute. (Just our own pics, I wasn't actually sharing it with strangers!) We loaded the account with pics in an attempt to make it worth the crazy price. ;)

I have no idea what happened, but today I got the cd (THREE days after I ordered it!) and the pics go all the way back to December of last year!! I thought they only had a max 60 day life unless you bought an extension, which I never did. Wish I'd added more of those photopass cards I never view. :rotfl: How nifty! This TR is actually going to have photopass pics in the future! You're sooo excited, right?

^^ Today at MK * Disney Day 29! ^^ It was crazy packed, but I wish I was still there!!

Hoping to do an update tonight! :goodvibes

My kids are still crazy about Capri-Suns!
That is great you were able to get all of those photo-pass pics!!!!

Woo Hoo! Glad someone's excited! I do think most of them suck, but we got some good ones too. :goodvibes

I think I could go for a Capri Sun right now maybe. ;) Photopass was an awesome shock. For whatever reason, it looks like all my December 2010 pics now have en expiration of April 2011? :confused3

Hopping out of our clam mobiles, Andrew immediately jumped in with Turtle Talk requests. I don’t care for Turtle Talk. It’s only gotten worse the more we do it. The bad jokes, the way parents push their kids, crying babies, and entire show with half a dozen little ones who keep those tiny arms in the air get to me. Everyone wants Crush to pick them. Life says we don’t all get picked. It’s a lesson everyone has to learn, but it still breaks my heart that it has to happen in such a silly way. Does this make me one of “those” moms? Blah..

Andrew is a lucky kid. He wins nearly anything he tries for and gets picked to participate in just about everything. It’s been great and I’m proud of him. However, it’s made it that much tougher to teach him how to lose. He’s never been picked at Turtle Talk and becomes a big grump afterwards. Even so, he won’t give up either. He has a new “plan” for every show. Today was no different.

I wasn’t looking forward to calming him down and the long talk about not being picked for everything this day. He insisted he wouldn’t be upset if it didn’t happen. Actually, he said I didn’t have to worry because it was going to happen this time. I didn’t exactly believe it, but we went in anyway. You have to admire him for never giving up! Andrew’s plan this time was strictly positive thinking. He told just about every person who spoke to him that this would be the day.

“Today Crush is going to talk to me for the very first time!”

Guess what. Crush didn’t choose him. Poor Andrew. He still hasn’t, but Andy-Roo still wants to try. He immediately turned into a big grump though and started complaining. Ugh. You won’t know unless you try, but I so wish he’d let this one go!

We moved out to check in on the manatees, hoping Andrew would cheer up and stop whining about Crush. It didn’t really work. Time to leave The Seas. He kept on about it outside.

CIMG1017.jpg

outside- Blake was bored.

CIMG1020.jpg

We decided to journey into World Showcase now and try out Maelstrom with John. It was so peaceful and quiet this day. We rarely even noticed anyone walking by. September seems like such a perfect time to visit, even if it can still get super hot. I was loving all the space.

CIMG1022.jpg

CIMG1027.jpg

crowd pic!

CIMG1029.jpg

CIMG1030.jpg

Here, we paused. Restroom breaks were needed and an empty bench was just begging us to sit down. Snack time! I thought about trying something new from Norway. I’ve read about so many things I want to try, but we stuck with the routine. I pulled out crackers and granola bars from my bag. If I pack ‘em, we might as well eat them.

CIMG1034.jpg

CIMG1035.jpg

CIMG1037.jpg

We have company..

CIMG1040.jpg

Squirrel!!

This little guy seemed very interested in whatever it is we’re snacking on. It was also obvious that Andrew was dying to feed him a cracker. After a few minutes, I gave in. I’m sure cheese crackers aren’t the healthiest thing for a squirrel, but Disney squirrels probably eat a lot worse. Maybe it would make my baby cheer up, too. Andrew broke a piece off and tossed it over.

CIMG1042.jpg

The squirrel checked it out. He even picked it up. I really thought he was going to have a nibble, but Andrew wasn’t so sure.

“Viking squirrels do not like crackers.”

“They’re nuts.”

“No, mommy. They’re crackers.”

“Right.. But why don’t Viking squirrels like them?”

“Because... Because talking turtles and Viking squirrels SUCK!”

Wow. What do you say to that? I didn’t reply right away. As I tried to come up with something between making him feel better about Turtle Talk and why I don’t want him saying things suck, Andrew started to grin.

“Hey, mommy. Those rhyme, huh? Viking squirtles and..”

We all laughed. (We’d been working on rhyming words at home at the time. ;) ) I told him that whatever it was, we won’t be sharing the rest of the crackers. His mood instantly improved and that talking turtle was forgotten for another day. Thank goodness!

CIMG1043.jpg

CIMG1046.jpg

messy face Blakers!

CIMG1049.jpg

After our snack break, we cleaned up the mess and headed over to try Maelstrom.

CIMG1052.jpg

This CM thought I was taking his picture. Hahaha.. Funny anyways.

CIMG1053.jpg

CIMG1054.jpg

CIMG1058.jpg

CIMG1059.jpg

It wasn’t exactly a busy ride. When our turn came, the CM in charge even encourages us to take up two rows if we wanted. So we did! I sat with Blake while John and Andrew took the seats behind us. It was fun. John said he didn’t remember any of it, even though I know he’s been on it before!

When it was time to say goodbye to our ship, the doors to the movie room were closed. It was so odd being “trapped” in here. It was weird how the few guests waiting were all so very quiet, too. Scary stuff. We had a pretty decent wait and decided to skip watching it after.

Back to exploring WS! Our only goal was that ride. Now that we’d accomplished it, we just decided to wander around and see where it might lead. We did finally start to see some signs of other guests in the park now!

CIMG1063.jpg

CIMG1065.jpg

Not there anyway..

Coming soon!! Secrets with Snow White, that scary DISer I mentioned, and trash can pixie dust!

We continued on around World Showcase. Blake was allowed out of the stroller and really enjoyed the freedom. They both did pretty good at staying with us, with no running ahead. That gets to be a big issue with Andrew sometimes. That is, until both of them spotted something worth running away for!

CIMG1068.jpg

CIMG1069.jpg

Yay for more drums. They would’ve been content to spend the rest of the day in this one spot!

CIMG1071.jpg

CIMG1077.jpg

CIMG1078.jpg

CIMG1079.jpg

They had a great time, but we did drag them away from here eventually. As we made it through Germany, the boys were both begging to check out the trains. I think they know WS better than I do at this point. As soon as Andrew spots a building, he knows where he wants to go!

We stopped for a character break before train time. Snow White was out!

CIMG1081.jpg

CIMG1082.jpg

Blake looks thrilled, huh?

Both of them LOVE her! I thought it was kinda crazy how Andrew declared Alice in Wonderland his favorite movie a couple of years ago. When they both went nuts and started requesting Snow White, I was really shocked! I figured it was too slow or too much of a princess/girly movie for them, but they request this one all the time now. They never stop surprising me!

Before we could part from Snow White, Andrew told her he had a secret. Remember what’s coming? As she leaned close for him to whisper in her ear, my little boy kissed her cheek! He’s such a silly kid. (Alice started this!)

We said our goodbyes and headed towards those trains!

CIMG1084.jpg

CIMG1085.jpg

CIMG1086.jpg

I was trying to spot something different or interesting, but nothing really stuck out from the last time. Well, there was a giant..

CIMG1087.jpg

CIMG1089.jpg

so sweet..

CIMG1090.jpg

haha.. That one makes me think of Gilligan with the hat & red shirt.

CIMG1092.jpg

CIMG1095.jpg

Looks like I took a bunch of pics there.

From the trains, we were back to walking. We did some shop exploring now and then, and the boys were both doing great. This was another single stroller day and WS is A LOT of walking! I wasn’t really sure how long Andrew was going to last, but we were all having a nice visit to Epcot.

CIMG1097.jpg

CIMG1099.jpg

CIMG1100.jpg

My pics make no sense, but I’m posting ‘em! That sign was soo faded!

CIMG1101.jpg

So nasty.. I’m not a turkey leg fan.

CIMG1102.jpg

Who wants a funnel cake??

CIMG1104.jpg

The boys walked ahead a bit while we debated on the funnel cake. Lunch was coming up soon and we had no plans. It was so empty, I was sure we could walk in a WS TS place somewhere, but I didn't know what. After a bit of discussion, we decided it was time to head to MK! :confused3 The Soarin’ FP time had already come so we could hop over there and go end our day at another park. Could Andrew last that long?

CIMG1105.jpg

I loved watching them walk together like this!

CIMG1106.jpg

..next post..

Blake started getting to be a bit of trouble and hopped back in the stroller. He wasn’t exactly thrilled with losing his “walking boy” status and made sure to let us know. As we were dealing with him, I spot someone on a bench straight ahead of us.

She was standing up, with a huge smile. Uh oh. I immediately knew that she knew who we were and started to panic.

“I think I know this person from the DIS. What do I do now??”

“Be polite? You’re the one that wanted to write it.”

“Yessss, but I never thought I’d actually see anyone!”

I decided that running the other direction would’ve been rude so we kept walking. ;)

Then, I met someone from the DIS. While I’ve noticed lots of them in the parks, I’d never actually spoken to anyone. Big moment, right? It really was. I have anxiety issues and was totally caught off guard by this. We talked for a few minutes about the park and their lunch plans. I kept waiting for that question.. I knew it would come up. I read her TRs! You know what it is. The picture! I don’t like pictures with me in them and declined. We talked a bit more and said goodbye. It was a nice visit, even if I was having a mini panic attack the entire time. ;)

We walked the rest of WS and talked more about lunch. Andrew was getting hot and tired. I was starting to think that even walking back around WS for something probably wasn’t the best idea for him. We’d just use those Soarin’ FPs and head off property.

Before we made it too far, Andrew spotted something that made him stop suddenly.

“WHO’S BEEN PAINTING MY ROSES RED?” he shouted.

CIMG1116.jpg

CIMG1117.jpg

Hmmmm.. Doesn't look like anybody has. ;)

He’s too silly. Right then and there, he said he was going to be one of the Queen’s cards for Halloween this year. It will “probably be the Ace, of course.” He just needed a bucket of red paint and it would be perfect. We’ll see if that happens. ;) I think he’s forgotten this now. Cute idea though!

Continuing on! We soon parted, with Andrew and I in a rush for our flight. John said he’d take Blake to check out Figment and play.

Inside The Land, we were met with a bit of a wait. It wasn’t too bad for Soarin’, and gave us some time to talk. Andrew said he was having a great time, even though we really weren’t doing much. Surprisingly, he was perfectly fine with going home after lunch. My baby really must’ve been tired!

Andrew makes a big deal about standing on the yellow hang gliders just before you enter. He made sure I had mine, he had his, and the couple beside us was ready. Even with his help, the guests ahead of us must not have understood. (This means the CM messed up too!) When we were boarded our second row seats, the one on the end was empty! A CM paused for a moment and looked at it, but then walked away. Soarin’ is so much fun!

John and Blake were sitting just outside of The Land. Blake wasn’t interested in playing after Figment without his brother so they gave up to wait. We sat with them for a few minutes to people watch and talk about lunch.

“They’re DISers.”

“Huh?”

A family in DISign board shirts with a LGMH hanging off a backpack walked right in front of us. I pointed them out to John. He told me to go say hello, but I didn’t. They looked angry. ;) I am over my DIS meeting fears for the most part now, but I’m not blindly walking up to someone! (Especially angry someones!)

Finally, we headed away from here to leave Epcot. Along the way, there was another distraction. The JAMMItors were out! The show was nearly over again, but we stopped to watch. The area was empty. Nobody seemed interested in them at all today. As soon as the show was done, one of them points at Andrew with a drum stick.

“Four years old! Capri Suns! YEAH!”

We stuck around to chat as they packed up again. This time the conversation was about no one watching their show and how unappreciated they are. It was all pretty funny. The man from Boston said he’d been trying to get some JAMMitors merchandise in the parks, but Disney wouldn’t go for it. The coaster at DHS even sells drum sticks, why not here? They don’t care. No one likes the JAMMitors. Haha.. Then he called to one of the others to get something out of his trash can.

“You have to share these. And don’t break anything or mom won’t be happy with us!”

My babies were then the proud owners of a set of JAMMitor drum sticks. They were beyond excited over this. No more Tinker Toys on their trash cans! :woohoo:

CIMG1118.jpg

CIMG1122.jpg

They boys played with their new drum sticks until we passed by Spaceship Earth. Andrew tried drumming on the rails so I had to cancel the show. ;)

CIMG1125.jpg

CIMG1129.jpg

Out of the park, we went off property for lunch and headed home. We had a great time and the boys still love their special souvenirs, even if they’re kept on a shelf in the closet most of the time. They haven’t broken anything yet!

Next Up!! October is here & we’re doing DHS!

Wow, real Jammitor drumsticks! That's so cool! :cool1:

I can see how it would be really weird to run into someone you know from TRs at Disney. Turned out fine, though. It's never happened to me, but I think it would be okay. I can talk Disney with pretty much anyone. :rotfl:

Too bad Crush didn't talk to Andrew. Maybe he needs a special shirt- "Talk to me, Crush!" You know, like they wear on The Price is Right.

Oh and on Soarin' we always ask the CM right before they tell us which yellow arrow to stand on. Sometimes, they can still get us in right away, but if not, it's always the very next group.

I was really surprised to see someone, and it'll happen again. The DISign board shirt people really stick out though. I lurked a lot on there before the boys' 2009 birthday trip. It's kinda neat, but I still don't say anything. :rotfl:

Too funny about The Price is Right shirt. Andrew would totally do that, but I'm not thinking so. :rotfl: He already has a plan lined up for next time. I'm so back and forth on this. One one side, I'd almost prefer he didn't get picked. That may sound bad, but it is something needs to understand and accept. On the other, who doesn't want their child to have everything their heart desires? We'll be back to Epcot soon enough. (& try the Soarin' request!)

I love the pictures of the boys with the drums! My girls had so much fun playing with the drums on our first trip at AK, I dont think we stopped to play with them on our last trip.

How cool that the boys got JAMMitors drum sticks too! But, like at your house, they would be put up where the girls couldn't reach them. If they were within reach, they would use them to beat each other up daily!

I agree about the Sept crowds, thats one reason we stuck with Sept to go our 2nd trip. We hardly ever had long waits and the weather isn't hot, hot bad as long as you take breaks mid-day. Can't wait to go back!!!

The boys would make me crazy if they had those drum sticks all the time! They don't fight as much as they want to drum on everything! Blake still finds a way to make his own set, but this gives me some sort of control over it. We have quite the collection of stuff on that shelf right now. :rotfl:

September seems sooo perfect! Too bad it'll never work out for us again.

LOVE your new siggy pics of the girls! That Buzz dress on McKenna is awesome! (But you already knew that.)

October 7th, 2010 * Thursday * Day Eleven!!

Guess What! It’s October!! You’re excited, right? I was. We were getting closer and closer to MNSSHP! This day isn’t it, of course. :lmao:

We were up and waiting on the street at DHS at 8:51 for the park to open. The crowd was huge, nothing like the empty Epcot experiences the month before. We were trapped in the mess of excited and screaming guests waiting for the opening fun to begin. It was almost time to run to TSM!

CIMG1266.jpg

CIMG1268.jpg

We were far enough back that no one cared how soon we made it to the ride. I knew Andrew and I would be in for a wait, but we didn’t have any huge plans this day. I actually think the entire day was simply scheduled around being able to get a Sci-Fi ADR for lunch. Well, there was that promise to Andrew that I might've left out of the last DHS day, too.. ;)

CIMG1269.jpg

We’re getting closer!

CIMG1270.jpg

25 minutes already? Andrew and I joined the standby line while Blake and John waited for FPs. Our wait wasn’t so bad. We were on the ride in 18 minutes. Woo Hoo!

CIMG1275.jpg

CIMG1276.jpg

CIMG1278.jpg

FP times when we left the ride. They were going fast!

John and Blake just waited around outside and looked at Toy Story toys while we were on the ride. When we all caught up again, he just had to show me a picture. I couldn’t imagine what he’d come up with this time, but he was thrilled. What was all the excitement? He found a Disney stroller with our last name on it! This was the only time he’s ever noticed one with our name on it and was thrilled. My husband is nuts.

Our FP return time wouldn’t be up until after lunch, so we headed towards the Animation Building. I’m not sure what the goal was, but we did look around in the art store.

CIMG1279.jpg

CIMG1285.jpg

On to the Playhouse Disney show!

CIMG1287.jpg

CIMG1289.jpg

The line wasn’t terrible when we made it over here, but did fill up pretty fast. The boys love watching the shows and playing with other children in here, so it’s one wait that isn’t a bother. We all filed in and found seats on the floor. We took a spot down in the front on the right side. Our seats were terrible and we finally learned our Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior lesson. Being in the front is not the best place to be! We really couldn’t see much, but the boys enjoyed it, as usual.

During the show, I spent much of my time watching the CM “babysitting” just in front of us. There are always CMs on either side, but this one took her job crazy seriously! Thankfully, my boys behaved, so we didn’t get in trouble. She did a very odd version of sign language to tell guests how their children should be sitting and even pulled out a laser pointer a few times! The little boy to our left repeatedly let his tiny foot fall an inch or less beyond the line. The CM would whip out the laser pointer and flash it back and forth on his shoe! How crazy is this one. Another CM relieved her from duty about midway into it. Maybe they saw how nuts this really was. A laser pointer??

CIMG1297.jpg

^our view^

When the show was over, we took our time getting up to leave. As we were beginning to move, someone spoke.

“I think I know you.”

Hmmm.. A woman with a little girl about Andrew’s age was standing beside me. My first thought was someone from the moms’ groups I’ve done around here, not the DIS this time. Turns out, it was another DISer, karebear! (Last time was Queenofallthings, btw) We talked for a couple minutes in here, as CMs were trying to get everyone out. Her dd is so cute! I think Andrew scared her though. He kept asking if she knew him? :rotfl: How crazy to be in the same Playhouse Disney show!

Done with the show, it was creeping up on lunch time already! (My notes about the first half of this day aren’t the best.) We wandered in the direction of Sci-Fi, pausing to listen to “Mulch, Sweat, and Shears” for the first time!

CIMG1301.jpg

I couldn’t get anyone in my family to actually walk around in front though!

CIMG1304.jpg

We called a restroom break. It’s silly, but I LOVE Disney restroom breaks! Thanks to the quicker moving, or completely empty, diaper changing lines in the mens’ rooms, I’m off diaper duty to the entire time we’re there! Andrew is a “man” now, so he refuses the ladies’ room much of the time, too. John takes both boys in without discussion. Love him! I think anyone with little ones knows how nice it is to be free of potty duty! :woohoo:

CIMG1311.jpg

CIMG1314.jpg

CIMG1317.jpg

tour group?

CIMG1320.jpg

Time for lunch!

CIMG1321.jpg

John went inside to get us checked in while I let the boys play in the car outside. They love that thing, but I don’t understand why it disappears sometimes. It wasn’t around the last time we ate here? It was nice this day!

CIMG1329.jpg

CIMG1330.jpg

Since the car outside was blue, Andrew was certain that our car inside was going to be blue. I bet him it wouldn’t be and Blake joined in. Milkshakes for the boys if we got a blue car. I’m not certain what I’d get if it was any other color, but the bet was on. We were called back just a couple of minutes later.

CIMG1332.jpg

the scary hallway!

CIMG1335.jpg

Inside, John and Blake took the front seat. We all settled in and our drink orders were soon taken. What did the boys get? Strawberry milkshakes! I must've lost the bet, but they let me get a chocolate shake anyway. :)

CIMG1337.jpg

Andrew is the champion! (Silly note- saying that got him to smile for the very first time as a baby.)

The meal was awesome. The food itself wasn’t anything super special, but eating at Sci-Fi is probably our favorite this year. (Next to CHH, of course!) Service can be a bit iffy at times, but decent enough that we go back. It’s so much fun in here!

CIMG1342.jpg

The boys are usually awesome here. We gets compliments from strangers all the time at WDW about how well behaved they are. This day wasn’t one of them! Andrew wouldn't eat, talked almost nonstop, and Blake refused to face the front. We learned that Blakers is strictly to be a backseat driver. Things work a little better for us that way. They weren’t disruptive to others, but certainly made us crazy this meal!

I always seem to take a picture of a napkin in here.

Our waitress didn’t come around much during our meal this visit. With the milkshakes, maybe she didn’t worry that we’d need refills or anything. When she did come back, Andrew immediately jumped in to ask for dessert! He’d ordered a hotdog, but only ate about half.

“Can you eat one more bite of hotdog?”

No one has ever asked him to eat more at Disney. This was quite a change and my talkative little boy was speechless! Huh? Eat more? He looked at me, probably hoping I’d say he could be finished. I simply smiled. Reluctantly, he picked it up and had another bite. She smiled and said dessert would be right out. A speechless Andrew doesn’t happen often!

Despite not coming around much during the meal, she was quick with the icecream. My boy that insisted it was dessert time barely touched it. Sci-Fi still makes their icecream way too cold in his opinion.

With lunch behind us, it was TSM time again! We walked the Streets of America for a bit and slowly made our way across the park again.

We’re here! Andrew and I jumped in the FP line and were on our way. Blake would ride next and waited just outside. (John doesn’t ride this at all now. It makes him sick.)

So we did, too!

While waiting in line, a couple ahead (or behind?) of us caught a bit of our conversation. The woman said something to Andrew. Haha.. Never a good idea. He would’ve talked to her the rest of the day. They spent the line time chatting. She and her husband (assuming here!) were on a kid free trip to WDW. Andrew just couldn’t understand this. Who goes to Disney without their kids? To make it worse, we learned that one of her children was named Andrew AND he was born just eight days before Andy-Roo! What a rotten mom, huh? He didn’t let her know, but did tell me afterward just how sad it was that some four year old Andrew had to be at his grandpa’s instead of Disney! :lmao:

Once we were on the ride, I did a bit of experimenting. Could I do better if I switched which hand controlled which function? The answer was no. My score was 20,000 points less. We both had a great time though!

Andrew ran outside, excited to tell John about the woman in line, but was hushed as soon as we made our way to the stroller. Blakers had fallen asleep. No TSM ride for him right now.

John and Andrew took advantage of this Blaker break to run off to an art class. I was left alone with a sleeping baby to find something to do. After wandering around a bit, I had an idea. It wasn’t an idea I was thrilled about, but I knew someone would get excited over it.

During our last visit to DHS, we made an awful discovery. I was holding a park map, trying to decide where to go next when I read something that I shouldn’t have. The words passed my lips before I even realized how terrible it was. It was discovery that resulted in some Andrew attitude after we rode Star Tours that I apparently left out of my notes. We also gave those TSM FPs to a family as we left the park for MK that day. Shockingly, I didn’t even remember it until I started this update! What were these terrible words from a DHS park map??

Drop 13 stories, at random, into another dimension. Height requirement 40"

NOOOO! I am terrified of elevators. They all make me nervous. I knew this ride was here, but had always thought the height requirement had to be much higher than this. After I said it, Andrew was ready to wait three hours just for the chance at it. I talked him out of it that day, promising that I’d be brave enough for it soon. I’ve expressed my Splash Mountain fears on here before. TOT is like a dozen Splash Mountains in my mind!

I pushed my sleeping baby Blake over to Sunset Boulevard. Standby was only at thirty minutes when I made it there. Staring up at that evil building, I already felt ill. I do love the Twilight Zone. You can find me glued to the marathon every year on SyFy. Maybe I could distract myself with that and somehow survive? I was so happy to be alone in this moment to build up the courage to face the scary elevator ride. Before I realized what was happening, I was holding a round of FPs in my shaking hand. Eek! The things we do for our children..

Browsing some stores calmed me down before I wandered back to the Animation Courtyard. I didn’t buy anything, but just looking around got my mind off of it. A woman tried to make a joke about "poo" being on my orange Winnie the Pooh bag. I always find those jokes annoying and just pretended to be clueless, breaking into the LONG story of how I got the bag. She must've thought I was a little nuts, but I won the joke battle. haha.. It took a lot for me not to start laughing while I rambled on. My mind was completely distracted from TOT.

I must've had a smile glued to my face as I walked back to the animation building. It didn’t last as I returned before the boys were done with their art class. I found a bench, people watched and planned how to tell Andrew the big news.
