Check out the pictures! I realize my "over the top" sense of humor isn't for everyone. That's fine as well.
Everywhere we go people are waving and clapping, and giving us the thumbs up! So the positive response FAR outweigh any negative ones. We have only had one negative one thus far, and it was (of all places) in Orlando last week when a Disney hater saw the van and shot us the bird.:lmao::happytv::rotfl2: She also nearly ran 2 people off the road, so I think she had bigger issues than just the van.
We have actually had people run out of their cars at gas stations and snap pictures of the van. I never dreamed the modifications would be this much fun!!! People pull up beside us at stop lights, roll down the windows, and tell us how much they love the van and Mickey.
Apparently Mickey Mouse has a following much larger than I originally expected because a lot of the people have never even been to Disney. They just like Mickey!::MickeyMo:earsboy:

To answer a few questions:
Yes, I COULD peel it off, but NO I won't.
Yes, it's "permanent". I COULD peel it, but it wouldn't be easy at all. Anyone out there who does vinyl graphics will back me up on that one!!!
No, it didn't hurt my resale value. Its an older van. Who cares anyways??? It makes us happy. Besides, if I listed it on ebay... I believe I could get my initial investment and some out of it.
Its made of REFLECTIVE VINYL. It has to be designed on a computer, re-designed for the exact make/model, and then imposed onto a picture of the van. Then you just have it plotted and cut, applied to transfer, and then applied to the van.
Can you do it? I hope not.:rotfl2: I'd like mine to be one of a kind!:rotfl2: But if it makes you happy, and as long as your not in my town... GO FOR IT!!!:rotfl2:
We are basically done with it now. A lot of people were emailing me and asking me to keep them informed when we finished it, so here is the end result!

Needless to say no more 100 MPH trips to Disney.:guilty: Looks like were stuck doing the speed limit from now on. We sure cant tell the officer they have the wrong person.:rotfl: Oh well, its safer anyways. Especially with it glowing at night. More visibility = less chance of "I didn't see you!"

Oh yeah, note the 2009 WDW license plate on the front. Also the Mickey family in the back glass. 2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats. Total price for all 8 family members (shipped to my door, in the matching blue color) was $4.50 on ebay. The same thing would have cost me nearly $50 at Disney, and Disney only had white, and we wanted the blue ones.:thumbsup2

nice job, Welcome to the Mickey car club..LOL...you will deifnitely get more positive comments than negative..
you'll be surprised by the number of people that will take pictures or comment, I went to mgm one day, the person at the ticket booth looked at my hood, then the sides of my car and waved me thru without charging me...

but the best was the day a van full of big burly biker types with harley tatoos etc, pulled up beside me at a traffic light, they beeped the horn rolled down the windows and proceeded to sing..m-i-c-k-e-y..m-o-u-s-e,, and gave me the thumbs up sign....

Wow, that is amazing! I love it! And my boys are in awe of the glow-in-the-dark version. Great job!!

Wow, people can sure see you coming at night!! :goodvibes

I can't understand that woman in Orlando giving you the finger, are you sure it was because of how you decorated your van or did you cut her off in traffic or something? I can't imagine someone getting that upset over your van decorations.

A van like that wouldn't be for me, but if it makes you happy that's all that matters! :thumbsup2

OMG! That is tooooo COOL! Now I can't wait to see the reaction on my DH's face when he sees it and wonders if I want it done to my car! :goodvibes

I normally don't like cars with decorations on them, but I love it! It looks like a lot of fun.

When I clicked on the thread, I thought, "This is going to be tacky", but I was so wrong! The silver/blue is nice, and I like it! You'll have no trouble finding your car in a dark parking lot.

OMG!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! If I saw you driving down the road I'd be so excited!! Great job!! So cool!!

Love it! I bet you smile everytime you see your van!:goodvibes

LOL I have to admit I clicked into this thread to see how tacky your car looked - but it is awesome! Good job - and I really like that it glows in the dark.

that is the coolest thing i have ever seen!!!! love it!!

WOW, that looks great!!! Any chance I'll run into you in Mecklenburg County???

Also, I have to wonder, how come there's not an antenna topper?
