That would be GREAT but I don't have much hope. Unlike with airlines where everyone has to be at the gate a certain time prior, with cruise lines the boarding period lasts a few hours. All CC members would not be arriving prior to everyone else, and there really isn't enough room to keep a separate line open for CC members after general boarding starts. They could specify the first 30 minutes of boarding for CC only, but then those arriving on same-day flights would be later and stuck with the crowd. Who knows - Maybe someday they'll decide to try it anyway.

Hi Y'all,

DCL offers CC members their own check-in line. We could go from the CC check-out to CC Priority Board. COOL!!!!
They could have the Welcome Aboard reception first thing instead of during the cruise. Sending all the CC member to the Rockin' D Bar or where ever they have the reception on the Wonder. That way people aren't wondering all over the ship, still allowing the crew time to get ready for the rest of the cruiser to board. Let us all make our reservations while at the reception, Priority Reservation making for being CC members. And last a brief Hello from our Capt.
Let's just hope that they do read this board and try it.

Yeah - There are so many returning cruisers that sometimes the regular lines are shorter than the CC check-in line! If they offered early CC boarding, you might <I>still</I> see hundreds of people in the "priority boarding" line!

I am a former frequent flyer... one of the "perks" of being a frequent flyer with a particular airline is that you get early boarding privileges when a plane is boarded. But when you fly on Monday mornings, you're flying with all the other frequent flyers. I was in the Atlanta airport one Monday morning and heard the following announcement:

<blockquote>"Ladies and Gentlemen, there are 98 people checked in for our flight to Raleigh this morning and 96 of you [qualify for early boarding privileges]. Because of those numbers, we're going to have to do away with early boarding this morning and board everyone by row number."</blockquote>

And yet there were <i>still</i> a few passengers who were furious!

Think FastPass. A little creative work with the ropes in the queue areas and they were able to make it work in the parks. It shouldn't be much harder at the port.
