Thank you! I'm glad we stayed too.FIRST let me just say that I LOVE all of your night-time Magic Kingdom photos!! And Josh looks like he's having a blast!!
Second I'm so sorry that you got sick but omgosh im super glad that you rallied and started to feel better!!
They were!Ugh! Those nachos look so disappointing!
We also resort hopped to the Contemporary and BLT and it is nice but meh for me too. However, Cali Grill is amazing so I'm glad it's on your list. Oak Fired Filet of Beef....<drool> I still have dreams about that meal. Plus the dessert! OMG! And I can usually skip dessert.
It turns out that Josh loves using the face/hand scrubsHe made me do the hand scrub, and as we were leaving he decided he wanted to go back and try some face scrub. He looks forward to washing his face in there next time too.
Next we headed out to the pool bar where I ordered nachos and Josh got a frozen lemonade sorbet cup...and I was kind of surprised they called what they gave me nachos. I was given a cup of cheese, a cup of chili, and a bag of Tostito chipsI guess next time I'll go for a place that has an actual nacho dish on the menu.
This is so super awesome and I was giggling while reading!! The photo evidence is spectacular!!
Ummmmmmmm... no. This is unacceptable for NACHOS! Ugh.![]()
Nachos? NOTchos!!
I'm with you, of all the deluxe resorts I think the Contemporary is last on my list of "must stays." I love the proximity to MK and CG is amazing, but there's just something missing...not that I'd turn down a free trip...hah.
Josh in Basin...hilarious! I love when guys aren't afraid to have silly fun!
They were!
Ah I can't wait to do Cali Grill! I want to go around fireworks time in May.
Yes that's perfect! That's what we want to do.Me too!! I'll have to look at the last time we did it, what time our ADR was. I thought it was just the right amount of time - we had our meal, then saw fireworks, and then our desserts were waiting for us when we returned to the table! It was awesome!
The nice thing about POFQ, as you said, is that its smaller size means no building is really far from the bus stop/main bldg. Steve and the boys liked our stays there but the theming just isn't to my taste. We had good bus service though!
We haven't been out to Rafiki's Planet Watch in YEARS. I've considered going next month just to do something "newish" and because I don't think Chris even remembers going. Petting zoo animals skeeve Steve out though lol so he'll be cringing if the kids pet them!
Rafiki's Planet Watch was a fun experience and there was a lot to see or do there, but it's probably not something we'll feel the need to do every time we're there.
The lady next to Josh kept spritzing her misting fan, but it kept going towards me (and I was on her far right Josh was between us), and getting all over my phone while I tried to take pictures. Then she got some on Josh too. We kept looking at her whenever it happened, but at that point I kind of think she might've been doing it on purpose since she wasn't really paying attention to the safari either. She was just bored and spraying herself (and us) with water....![]()
Now we were heading to our second hotel POFQ to check in!
