Just read something on MSN that says Newark Liberty is shutting down their main runway for repairs until September 24th (there are three runways)! They say to expect delays when departing in the AM and when arriving in the PM at EWR. It also stated that Continental passengers will be affected the most as the main runway is closest to the Continental hub and used most often by the airline.

I'm going home this weekend (super weekend special from Continental!) and really don't need any delays. Oh well. But thanks for the heads up so I can at least be prepared.
