I haven't seen much info on this hotel. Has anyone stayed here? We are looking for some where to stay on the first night we get there before going to the DLH for the rest of our stay. We have stayed at a few of the hotels around Disney, just not this one. We are looking at a flight that gets in late afternoon, and we figured we'd stay off site the first night and start off the next day at the DLH :) (Besides it saves some of our DVC points ;) )

On Expedia it gets pretty good reviews, but thougt I would ask here also. TIA!!

I stayed there once. It wasn't bad but I have stayed in better on Harbor. We were in the buiding that the front desk is in. It wasn't dirty but it was very old and the air conditioner was loud. Dh Loves white noise while he sleeps so he was fine with it but my kids had trouble sleeping with all the noise.

I would stay there again if it was just for one night and you knew you were headed to DLH the next night.

AZ, it gets bad bad reviews on most sites and here previously! You were lucky then, but I hear it's a great place for stalkers to hang out!!! No wonder you fit right in!! HA!

Yeah, it wasnt bad when I stayed. Of course my memory might have been bad. It was a LONG time ago and I got some rate of $49 bucks and it was a budget trip so I thought what the heck. From what I read I had the best building and room. I see it's now closer to $100 a night. I would NEVER pay that price now for that hotel.

As my Mom is paying for the kids and grandkids hotel and passes in Anaheim they are the ones who booked the hotel and my Dad booked the Del Sol Inn. We are scheduled to be there 5 days and hopefully it isn't that bad. When I get back on the 26th I will try and remember to let you, and the board know how it was.

We just stayed there this past October and had no problems and have recommended it to others.

Positives:thumbsup2 :
Location (third closest to crosswalk)
Large Rooms (when compared to similarly priced rooms in the area)
Price (about $69 a night)
Quiet (located back from the main blvd makes it rather quiet from all of the hustle and bustle)

Negatives:( :
Parking (offset somewhat with location and shared parking with Denny's)
Continental Breakfast (very basic, small selection, small breakfast dinning area)

That being said, their recent price increase has taken away one of their best strengths (bang for the buck). At an average of $100 a night, they have made their nearby competitors that more attractive. I don't know what the management was thinking :confused3 when the did that for now I will have to consider someplace else. It's too bad, really.
