Dekuxe Dining Plan Benefits

We're trying the deluxe dining plan on our Aug. / Sep. trip and was wondering what freebies we get with it. I read somewhere that one refillable resort mug is included per person. What else is there?

On that plan you get 3 meals (which you could use as TS or CS), 2 snacks per night stay and you get 1 refillable mug per person for your stay.

We're doing deluxe dining in September with two toddlers. We tend to do a buffet breakfast and a sit down dinner and counter service lunch. We like that for the sit downs we get an appetizer (not having to pay extra for a kids meal is nice). Also the refillable mug. I don't think it will really be as good a deal next year so taking the advantages while we can. Probably our last year doing dining plan unless its free. Oh yeah, plus 2 snack credits instead of one.

I'm trying to decide if I want DDP or DLX. Made my ressie's and had 10 TS credits needed and only getting 7. So will be paying OOP for 3. planned to use the CS for lunch and pay OOP for breakfast on the days we didn't have a TS Breakfast planned. my guess was breakfast would be cheap, a bagel, cereal or fruit, plus the 3 TS meals OOP and the Mugs. I was looking at around$200+ OOP. Then friends decided to add to more TS meals (one of which is 2 credits) so now I'm up another $200 OOP. To add the DLX would be a little over $500. So my choice get the DLX and pay another $500+ but ALL of my meals will be covered with ease (TS, CS lunches and breakfasts) plus the mugs and all of the extra snack credits. OR leave the DDP and pay OOP $400+ or try to cancel some of my TS and use my CS for dinner and pay OOP for more breakfasts, etc. I don't like option 3 so it's between one and two.

I wouldn't call the mugs "freebies" as they're included in the price.

Not sure what else you would consider a "freebie." You'd have 3 meal credits and 2 snack credits allotted per night you stay. You get an appetizer, which you don't get with the regular plan, but it's still not a freebie - you're paying more for deluxe, so you get more.
