If this couple weren't notorious already, having accepted stolen beer from Omar Thornton who murdered 8 of his co workers before killing himself. Not smart would be an understatement. http://www.wral.com/news/national_world/national/story/8147331/

ENFIELD, CONN. — A video shows two Connecticut journalists outside court being sprayed with insecticide by a man accused of accepting stolen beer from the gunman in a deadly shooting.

Sean Quail is seen spraying a reporter and cameraman from Fox affiliate WTIC-TV on Tuesday outside Enfield Superior Court, where Quail’s wife appeared in the same theft case.

Neither journalist was seriously hurt.

The 33-year-old Quail was ordered held on $25,000 bail on new charges including carrying a dangerous weapon and assault.

Authorities say Sean and Christy Quail accepted beer stolen by Omar Thornton from Hartford Distributors in Manchester. Thornton fatally shot eight workers, then himself, after being forced to resign for stealing.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP’s earlier story is below.

Police in Connecticut have charged a second person in connection with the theft of beer from a company where a worker killed eight people and himself two weeks ago.

Thirty-three-year-old Sean Quail, of Enfield, was charged Monday with misdemeanor larceny and conspiracy. He posted bail and is to appear in Enfield Superior Court on Aug. 31.

Quail’s wife, 33-year-old Christy Quail, was arrested on similar charges Aug. 6.

Authorities say Christy Quail was caught on video accepting stolen beer from Omar Thornton, a driver for Hartford Distributors who shot eight people to death, wounded two others and killed himself at the company’s Manchester headquarters on Aug. 3.

The Quails didn’t immediately return a message left at their home Tuesday morning.

I have been attacked numerous times when I was a cameraman. I've been spit on, hit, had things thrown at me, called the foulest of things, and even had an off-duty corrections officer try to run me over with his car outside the DA's office.

People are animals.
