Deepest Discount?

I was wondering what the best "room only" discount is. We're military and annual pass holders and the last CM I talked to said the best rate she's ever seen was 40% off deluxe, 35% off moderate and 30% off value (rack rates). Which is the military room only rate. She said the only deeper discounts are cast member rates. Has anybody seen anything better for a room only discount?

Current AP rate for Jan-March is 35% off the Values, I think. I hadn't seen that before!

That's the best I've seen too...

Though I think for moderates the most I've seen is 35-40%... can't quite remember which. Probably similar for values.

But I'm sure I saw 45% for deluxe.

I got a pin for 40% off at ANY resort in 2009. We stayed at ASMu and IIRC it ended up only costing around $70/night after taxes. Not a bad deal at all!

The best price I ever got was when I was doing the college program...they were running an offer for CMs where if we stayed in the room we got 60% off! When my boyfriend came to visit me we stayed at CSR for around $250 for 3 nights....they also let us get the DDP for $25 PP per day with that discount. Oh, how I miss being a Cast Member LOL!

I have been on these boards for a few years and the best I ever saw was one person posted receiving a 40% off EVERYTHING, room, tickets and dining. I never saw anything beat that one.

AP rate has been slightly over 40% (deluxe) a few times. The times when general public discounts or else PIN's were at 40%, then AP has gone slightly higher.

Yep, back in 2010 for OKW, SSR and BWV. Got it for a June and November trip.
