I noticed as I am sure many others have that Christmas MDSE seemed to be discounted more deeply after Christmas. The stores like Wal Mart did not even wait till NY to go to 75 % and stores like Christmas Tree and Target also went earlier to 75% + . What do you think this means for next year? Do you think we will see lots less mdse OR do you think they will begin to go 50% before Christmas so that they can avoid the 75% discount?
I think that the Black Friday ads will be pumped up b/c Wal Mart stole the show this year and I think Wal Mart will be even better to try and hold the edge.
