Deed transfer and combining memberships

I own my own (resale) contract, and likely going to getting another (direct) contract with my wife. Since they will have different deeded owners (me vs me and my wife), they will have different membership accounts, even though they are the same UY.

If at a later point, I wanted to add my wife to the deed of my resale contract, would we then be able to combine the 2 accounts? I really don't want to have to talk with MS and transfer points all the time at the 7-month mark.

It is easier to do it now so that the new contract becomes part of your current membership from the start. That is what we did.

But, if you do it later on, they should be able to move it to the membership with your wife, but be aware that will most likely require all reservations to be canceled when the membership is dissolved and the contract transferred.
