Dedicated two bedroom

I am in the same boat as you DisneyFreaks. I have just phoned my guide as I am more confused than ever. I phoned to make a reservation for a 2 bedroom fully assessable unit using points for 12 days cash for 2. told you cannot make a reservation for a lock-off 2 bedroom using cash . so I told her I would phone her back after speaking to my husband. we decided to borrow some of our 2008 points to get the lock-off so phoned back member services got another person only to be told oh you can't use points and make a reservation at all for a 2 bedroom assessable lock-off told her I had been told 10 minutes ago we could and she said oh they must all have gone. we go next July and I am right at the start of our 11 month window. also told her we had one this year and she then said oh must have been your luck. I stupidly went ahead and booked I should have left it and phoned back tomorrow.


I need the lock-off for medical reasons to and felt quite upset coming off the phone. don't get me wrong the girl was nice it was just getting told a whole load of different things and getting nowhere

Thanks TAKitty for asking about this. I forgot to check our Oct/Nov reservation until I saw your post. When I did check I found it was a dedicated 2 bdrm and we needed a lock-off for this trip. MS was able to make the change for all, but our first two nights and we're waitlisted for those.

I'll be upset if we end up with a dedicated after all. I could have saved some points. LoL It's even more confusing when each time you call you get told something different. We later added a studio with cash for our grown son and they gave us the member discount. I have always heard that a member has to be in the room to get this discount so I mentioned that fact. I was told it did not make a difference. The rate is listed on the confirmation so I hope we don't have any trouble at check in.

Dedicated 2 bedrooms at OKW, SSR and VWL have 2 queen beds in the extra bedroom. If you book a dedicated 2 bedroom at any of these resorts you will get the 2 queen beds.

None at BW

At Beach Club there are only 25-2 bedroom dedicated villas with 2 queen beds. You have to book these, if you book only a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV you will NOT get the 2 queens.

You have to book a 2 bedroom dedicated villa with 2 queens at Beach Club to get them.

It's all very confusing isn't it? When I first called to book I wanted a lock-off with a cash / points split but was also told no way. So I booked it all with points. I'll be upset if we end up with a dedicated after all. I could have saved some points. LoL It's even more confusing when each time you call you get told something different. We later added a studio with cash for our grown son and they gave us the member discount. I have always heard that a member has to be in the room to get this discount so I mentioned that fact. I was told it did not make a difference. The rate is listed on the confirmation so I hope we don't have any trouble at check in.

well hopefully it is now sorted. to cut a long story short, we have booked a 1 bedrom + the sutdio and she has linked them to they will be together. crazy as they have just given me what I needed but worded it differently. we had been told a whole load of wrong info and the supervisor corrected it all for us including letting us now do the points / cash split and putting our borred 2007 points back into our account.

don't think so. but to be honest I am just so relieved to get it all sorted that Inever counted the points. if we hadn't we wouldn't have been able to go because of the level of ds disablility. the people we hire the special equipment off has also emailed me back with a positive. he can give us bed blocks to get the hoist under the bed so that will mean we arn't stuck with the beds scenario.

our banked points were put back into the correct use year as she shouldn't have taken them out so another thing sorted to
