Decoy toothbrush

They wear them of course. :teeth: They put them on and dance around the room looking for any dirty pics left out (or perhaps taking a few) all the while preparing to clean the toilet with any and all toothbrushes they may find not locked in a safe. ;)

:lmao:

That is one of the funniest things I think I ever heard. Talk about paranoid. But when it comes down to it, the mouth is probably nastier and more bacterial ridden than the bathroom.
This reminds me of an Oprah show a few years back when they sent in some scientists to test areas of a woman's house that was pretty filthy. Turned out the kitchen sink had more bacteria than the toilet!!!! :rotfl2: Had to do with all the raw meat and the leftovers, bits of food on plates left in there etc. Meanwhile, the toilet was regularly flushed, so it kept getting rinsed out, unlike the sink! :lmao: I've scrubbed my sink regularly ever since!

You forgot to mention they wear them after they use the guest's bathroom! (does anyone else remember the thread about the maid that got caught using a bathroom? or am I the only one?) :rotfl:

Ok... well, as much as it grosses me out I have to tell this story.

We know this couple who went on their honeymoon (not to Disney) but to a fancy hotel. When they got home they were watching their video. One day while they had been out they must have left their video camera in the room. What they saw... on their honeymoon video.... was the cleaning staff (1 male and 1 female) dancing around naked with this couples toothbrushes stuck... well... someplace quite disgusting. The hotel of course heard about this and fired the staff, but I don't think I could ever use enough listerine to get that image out of my head. :scared:

I don't hide my toothbrush, but when I saw this thread I just had to share.

That's right. Well, I thought that was just a given. ;) :rotfl2:

hummm.... Missy I'm taking the safe! :rolleyes1

Everyone, quick, get out your calendars! I'm what I'm not very often...speechless. I don't even think I can make up anything to say right now! :rotfl:

There's no room for another tag! :rotfl2: I've thought about erasing my tags and starting over, but I'm scared of what the TF would give me. Probably wouldn't be any worse than what I have and NO worse than my signature tag! :lmao:

Why keep a decoy one out? If she puts hers in the safe, why does she feel the need to keep a decoy set out. Does she think if she didn't they would actually be looking all over the room for it?

I don't suppose that couple who you knew actually showed you the photos/video? According to snopes.com, that "toothbrush where the sun doesn't shine" story is an urban legend: http://www.snopes.com/racial/crime/toothbsh.htm

Note: Be warned that the version told in the snopes example is racist.

Urban legend I believe...I heard that one about 15-20 years ago.

Whenever DH is annoying me, I tell him he might want to seriously think about getting a new toothbrush... :scratchin It's always been a joke but mine will be in the safe from now on!

My dad was staying in a hotel while attending a seminar once and he suspected the maid was going through the dresser drawers where he kept his socks and underwear. One morning he set up a little ****y trap with toothpicks so he could tell if anyone opened the drawer while he was gone. Not only did the maid open the drawer and disturb the toothpicks, she took them! He thought she probably freaked out when realized she'd been caught. Of course, my dad enjoyed this kind of stuff because he was a police officer. He set his trap again the next day and it was not disturbed again!

My dad used to travel M-F for work. After getting tired of people going through his stuff, he went out and got fake trantulas. Imagine the poor maid who opens up that dresser drawer! Also, before 9-11 he flew a lot.....he put the fake trantulas and also fake snakes into his checked and carry on luggage. Ha. Talk about paranoid.

I just totally freaked my Dh out and told him this story...He said oh I always leave my toothbrush out and now he is going to hide it...!!!!!>>>!!!

i can usually tell if someone has moved my stuff but i always pit my toothbruch in its case and on my bag. I also never put stuff in the drawers and always take my own sponge and put it in its own bag too. I guess i was born paranoid!
