Decorations...

do any of you know when they start putting up the Christmas decorations and when their usually done by? I want to travel the week before thanksgiving or the week after to disney world. TIA

They start going up in early November.BUT nothing is guaranteed to be completed till Thanksgiving week.Alot of the resorts and parks are in phases throughout November till Thanksgiving.Thanksgiving weekend starts the official kick off for things like the Candlelight processional and the Holiday storytellers at Epcot.Evrything starts coming down right after New years and is usually gone by marathon weekend

As a matter of fact, I just received a person specific email from disney for free dining good thru Dec 24,2010..They may or may not offer it to the general public.Last year they did, but the year before it was only for Disney Visa holders and pincode recipients.Before 2008...never.
