Decorating your resort room?

Anyone seen any Mickey etc Clings? The girls want a Mickey Window! Of course I can get MH from HD!! But I'm looking for Clings or placenmats!!

I've gotten Mickey clings at Dollar Tree and placemats at Dollar General, but it's been awhile. Just keep checking!

we are going to WDW Oct 6th-10th to celebrate my birthday. I totally LOVE the decorating idea but do you think it's worth taking the time to decorate our door/window for only being there 4 nights?

I always do, even for a few nights. If you keep it simple, maybe some clings or placemats and a stuffed animal or two it doesn't take long at all and looks so cute! Definitely make a sign for your birthday and put it on your door or window.

Thank you so much everyone for sharing your wonderful ideas for decorating your windows and doors. Previously I have brought some window clings to decorate our windows with but I NEVER thought about the door too. I love the idea of the dry erase board or mickey heads. I know my family will think I am NUTS but I am totally going to do this. I can't wait to see more pictures of what everyone has done. Thanks again for sharing your creativity!

I have bought clings at Dollar tree. I also bought a pack of blank ones from Staples. You can print on them whatever you like.

here is our room window we decorated when we were there in Nov.

Where did you get the cards with your names on them? They are gorgeous!!:thumbsup2

You guys are inspirational. Love all the ideas. We are going in Jan09 with another family and I now think it would be fun to get the 7 kids together and make our own window clings-have each kid (even the 3 year olds) color their own cling so that they are individualized. I think I will make it a party with pizza and crafts for decorating our rooms at Disney! Thanks guys.

Shauna :)

:thumbsup2 I love the windows...I decorate my windows as well when visiting disney...it helps the lil guy remember which room is ours

Sorry for going off topic but had to add...Shauna...I have to love your name as it is my name as well...and its rare to find anyone that has that same spelling ;)

such wonderful eye candy and inspiration! i can't wait to borrow some of these ideas and decorate our windows in october!

for those of you who put lights up, do you leave them on overnight and/or while you're at the park? does mousekeeping seem to mind the lights?
i'd love to put up some orange or purple ones to celebrate mnsshp while we are there!

We've done lights (for anniversary and for Christmas). Left them on all the time so we could find our room when we came back, lol. Also, with the curtains closed you can't really tell there are lights on the other side, they are good for room darkening. (Now if your don't have an extension cord and your light is dragging to the outlet, I'd turn them off at night for darkness).

If any wants a Mickey head with name on it, for cling or magnet, I could do it for you:

These kind?

I didn't get those exact ones, but I bet they would work. I got some at Dollar Tree that are smaller and have clear suction cups and were 4 to a package for a dollar of course.
