Decorating with holly branches?

This will be our first Christmas in our new home and we have a huge holly tree in our yard. I'd like to cut off some boughs and decorate for Christmas, but I'm not sure exactly what I want to do.

I thought of making a wreath or two (there are four doors, plus garage doors to adorn), but other than that I'm not sure.

How have you used holly in your Christmas decorating?

We used to have Magnolia, Holly, and Pine and when I got into my Martha Stewart mode I would cut branches/leaves and put them on the mantle. Nothing outstanding, but it looked pretty. I also used it around large candles, and made a swag to place on top of our mailbox.

What I did want to tell you is that when holly dries out it is like NEEDLES if you get pricked. It HURTS!! so be careful.
