Hi This will be our first time stay at FW in a Cabin. When staying in a room I always go all out and decorate our front window and door...lights included. Can I decorate the deck of the cabin with lights and stuff?? Is there a place to plug in??? Also ok I AM nuts how many windows are there to decorate ???

Hi Bridget,

We just stayed in the FTW cabins over Thanksgiving week and also stayed in them in 2000 and 2003. You can decorate the deck, it goes around the side with a double rail. We use it for swim suits and towels but it would be great for lights etc. It is a pretty big area, it has a picnic table on it and still plenty of room.
I noticed tons of people had their campsites/RVs decorated, with blow ups, lights etc so it is allowed and looks great at night.

PS I post with you on the AOL boards with same screen name:)

Bridget,
I forgot to comment on the plug and windows, I know there was an outside plug by where you park your car, but there may be more.
As far as windows, there is one at each door, two in bedroom, two in front and one larger one in wall behind table and one larger one in hallway, bedroom, front and bathroom ones are pretty small.

Have at it! When are you going?

We have been putting up blue icicle lights for the last 3 years. It is a different formation every year but I d part of the deck and part of the cabin wall. There is an outlet in the front for the cart and also one on the deck.

I usually put up lights in the front windows too and take a table top tree.

Not sure what we will do this year though.
