decorating golf carts

We will be staying in the cabins for the first time in October. We have decided to rent a golf cart for 4 of the 7 days. Looking at youtube videos and admiring the decorated golf carts. I see that some of them have strings of lights. Is there an outlet on the carts that they are plugged into or are they battery operated? Any ideas on how we can decorate the cart would be appreciated. We may just hang something from the back to easily identify ours. Thank you!

When we did it for the 4th of July, we used battery operated lights that we found at Target.

I have seen them at Hobby Lobby and they always have a coupon that can be used.

I found our battery lights at Big Lots and Dollar Tree. The Dollar tree is a great place to find decorations. We have been for Christmas and Easter, and decorated our cart both times. Looking forward for our first Halloween at the Fort.
