A few years ago when we were at WDW for halloween we decorated our room. I put several thing in our room, like plastic pumpkins etc. On our door was a halloween tigger and piglet stuffed hanging with our name on it, purchased from the DS catalog. We hung things in our windows and lit it up with string of lights and a small strobe light. My family thought I was crazy before we left but loved it while we were there.
It was really fun to hear people that did'nt know it was our room comment on it. They would use it as a guide to find their own rooms. Some called it the spooky room. :scared1:
I invite everyone to join us and do the same. Would love to hear from those who would find this fun.
So if you see the 'spooky room' at the BWV from Oct 29th - Nov 2 you will now know it is this Harris famliy

Thanks for the reminder! I would have totally forgotten to decorate. At the least I'll grab some window clings :) I remember seeing someone posting years ago about doing it for December and how kewl it sounded.

Now I'm off to remind the rest in our party so that their rooms will have some Halloween flair too.

Thanks!!!!

I loved how people decorated their room windows at Pop. It was nothing extravagent, but people put their stuffed animals or photos in the windows. We made some of those plastic robots from Epcot (one of the only free things at WDW) and we put those in our window!!!!! :flower:

We always decorate our room at OKW. Usually put some lights up, some of those clingy things in the windows and something on and around our doors.

We have friends who live near WDW who hold our stuff from year to year.

Can't wait!

I was thinking of hanging lights for My Christmas Trip, and then thought to myself.. Why not do it for Halloween too....

Any tips on how to get it to stick to the windows, Any good items? Do I need an extension cord for the plug? Since the AC is right under the window.. Where is the outlit??

Oh for Halloween me and 22 of my family (WHY ME!!) Will be at the All Star Sports..

And for Christmas Im at PORFQ with just 4 of us..

We used some of those suction cup hooks. And I would make sure to take a couple of extension cords. I remember there was an outlet near the window.

you know i haven't started my packing list for clothes yet but now thanks to this thread I started a list for Halloween Decorations that are packable! And I always pack a extension cord, I'm paranoid so I don't leave it plugged in while I'm out at the parks, then it's packed away till i need it again. But I have used it when my phone charger seemed to pull out of the outlet on it's own and wasn't charging. I thankfully had the ext. cord with me and able to use the outlet.

Another time the 3 outlets in the bed area of the All Star room we had there were 3 of us with our phones and camcorder. 1 person had the outlet by the beds I think. I had the outlet under the table so was able to place my phone on the chair. The third would have placed her camcorder on my side of the bed and would have tripped me up if I had gotten up. So we used the ext. cord and pushed her charger under the foot of the bed area out of the way :) I don't think I've had to use it for 2 years now since we've done DVC on those girl weeks, but it's always with me just in case :) Those and my folding scissors!

Back to planning that Halloween list! Thanks so much for the reminder, you would not believe how much smiling I've done as I think about the trip since last night reading your post :) Can't wait to go!!!
