Decorating doors at Art of Animation

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but was wondering if anyone decorates their doors at Art of Animation Resort. We decorated our door on DCL as did a lot of people and was wondering if anyone at resorts do.

Not sure if AOA allows this but I know that DVC members are not allowed to decorate their doors or balconies.

Values and mods are allowed. You must use either magnets or clings, no tape, etc. That would mar the finish.

We decorated our window as did a lot of people. We were there for Halloween last year in LM. We had Mickey Halloween lights too, we were never asked to take them down.

Ok. Same rules as DCL. So the doors are magnetic??

We were down for Halloween. picked up a spooky, motion detector pirate ship/skeleton door hanger - walmart . Also did the room in lights and stuff. If you do, through in a roll of tape, make life easier. I am sure the room cleaning thought it was odd and funny..

Never had anybody say we had to take down, but also had it on a limited time...

One day we came back and had large mickey balloon...

I saw a few pictures in the window decoration thread of AoA LM rooms decorated so I'm thinking about doing it when I'm down in January!

I wonder because of interior corridors if door decorations might not be allowed since they would increase the combustible level in the exit corridor? Meaning more stuff to burn and create smoke when people are trying to get out in an emergency.

Using tape is considered a no-no due to the risk of damaging the surface of whatever you're taping your stuff to. Just be aware that if you choose to use tape and they decide that the surface requires repair, your credit card will be dinged with those costs.
