decorating balcony at AKL

I will be going to the World in Dec and would like to decorate my room, but was wondering if you can decorate the balcony. Can you put lights and garland on the balcony? My guess is no because of the animals. What about lights on the door? I have some window clings too, but if you can't put them up on the windows I can always put them on the mirror.

No, you can not put lights or anything on the balcony at AKL . I am going in Dec also...but we ARE taking a small tree for our room and a light up mickey.They do not allow anything on the balcony because of the animals...they make pretend moonlight on the safari at night for the animals and they do not want anything to fall off and be swallowed, you can put whatever you want inside of the room though. HAVE A GREAT TRIP

Thanks. That's what I thought. I was thinking of getting some green lights on the inside of the door to the balcony. Is that allowed? It would be in a shape of a Christmas tree. I doubt I'd have a savannah room, since I only plan to reserve a standard room. But I realize it does apply to the resort as a whole, not just the savannah rooms.

huumm good question...not sure about a standard room..but they upgrade alot so you may end up with a savanna view, I always get upgraded there.The rules may be for the savanna only, they just do not want the animals to get hurt by anything falling.
