Decorated resort window Pics

we are going for the sept. 21st MNSSHP maybe we will do a Halloween themed window!

We did ours halloween last year while staying at the CB. This was our first try at something like this. DW and I were just in the spirit of things.

Woohoo,, we are going on the same day!!! Are you staying at pop?
We have 2 celebrations, my DD's 6th birthday and my anniversary, only plan on celebrating the birthday though as my DH won't be with us. We are having a pirate and princess theme in green
I don't plan on using any tape as I have made my window clings and have suction hooks for the garland and the lights, but the window clings feel sticky so I'm taking the sticky stuff remover just in case. I have made my door sign out of magnetic printer paper :

Wow I did not know they had magnetic paper for the printer. I've got to stop by Office Max and check that out. Another great tip! Thanks.

Great Window Snoopy! I love the kissing swans on the window ledge. I'm so jealous...you had two windows....double the fun. I hope I get two windows!!!!

You are very welcome! Glad to help I have heard of someone else buying them from Office Max so you shouldn't have any trouble finding them,,, I got mine off ebay, so thats always an option :

One other tip,, the magnetic printer paper is not waterproof on the printed side so I have covered it in the clear laminating film, don't want rainshowers to make all the ink run

We are celebrating our anniversary too! How long have you guys been together? We've been married for 8 years and together for 11.

We're staying at the CBR and going to the 8/28 Pirate Party. Will you be there? I will definately have my LGMHs attached to my stroller and baby bag.

I love all the windows so far and I cant wait to see the ones there now when they return! I will defintely be decorating my window and door in March/April! Has anyone had any luck with anyone signing the door if the left things to sign?!

When we decorated our window I put up a magnetic dry erase board ( bought at the Dollar store)and everyone that saw our window would sign it. We never got any naughty words as we put it up high LOL but we did get lots of Dis fans signing it . There was nothing like getting back and checking the board to see what everyone wrote. Have fun doing up your windows all.

I plan on (lightly) taping a decorated posterboard up to let DIS'ers sign. I'm also decorating my window with halloween cling ons, mickey heads [big ones that have my username on them and small multi-colored ones], and a little light up pumpkin (so cute).

If any of you see my door/window at the POP please sign my posterboard.

I know its early for me to be shopping for window decorations but Im just to excited! I got some bright colored poster board that I am going to put magnets on the back of and put on our door for people to sign I also got some paper flag decorations and 2 disney princess and a eeyore figurine at the dollar tree today for our window! I am wanting to get some clings any suggestions on where you guys got yours?!

Here are some pictures of our window and balcony at the Swan resort from our July '07 stay. I also had red/wht/blue rope lighting around the rails of the balcony, which I had on a timer. That way, if we were walking on the sidewalk we could spot which one was our room.

I actually got a pm from another DISer when we got home that she had seen my banner on the balcony. It made me feel my work did not go in vain!

We found them in the Carribean Beach Resort Gift Shop. We also saw them at Downtown Disney at the Holiday shop.

Hmmm...I have done some minimal decorating before (made a small sign) but maybe this year i will try something more complex! Plus, it gives DH and I something to work on as we watch the time s l o w l y pass by.

...I just counted, we have 26 days!
