Decorated For Christmas...

When is Walt Disney World decorated for Christmas? I'm going to DW on OCt 30th - Nov 14th. Doing MNSSHP on OCt 31st and then Mickey's very Merry Christmas Party on Nov 13th. Is the park fully decorated by that time? If so, how do they do it so close to Halloween?

So excited that I can do both parties in one trip!

The majority of the decorations go up Thanksgiving night. After the park closes the magic begins. When you enter the parks the day after Thanksgiving it's Christmas.

Good Point. Maybe just Main Street has decorations before Thanksgiving. I have been twice for Thanksgiving and the decorations were not up but then again that was before they had MVMCP. Maybe someone will post that was there last year. Now curious minds want to know.

I posted this question a few months back and several people replied that most of the decorations are up by mid November.

I was there from Dec 27- Jan 8 /06 and the park was still decorated and still playing Christmas music!

So pretty decked out for Christmas.....Oh please tell me it will be decorated for the Very Merry Christmas Party on Nov13. This is my first trip not in Dec !

This year is last two days of October and first two weeks of November! I need a little Christmas!

I can'yt wait to see al the decorations. During our stay we'll conveniently be eating at the Contemporary and traveling through the grand floridian while staying at AKL. Can't wait to take pictures of all the decor. I'll have my portable hard drive or CD burner by then so I'll have plenty of room!!!
